Powers Cottage is an old meets new, quirky accommodation resting in Irish countryside near Kilmacthomas. It comprises one super king-size bedroom, sleeping two people. Inside there are also three sofa beds in the sitting areas for additional guests, as well as a shower room, open-plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. To the exterior is ample off-road parking, and a private garden at rear with lawn and patio area with furniture. Powers Cottage is a refreshing hideaway in a lovely part of Ireland.
Area
The village of Kilmacthomas is set on the River Mahon in County Waterford. It offers shops and bars, and is well known for the Mahon Falls, which lie just outside the village. The harbour town of Dungarvan, has many amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as festivals and events throughout the year, and activities such as watersports, horse riding and bike hire on offer. Waterford city is the oldest city in Ireland, and has an arts centre, film and cultural festivals as well as many places to eat and drink.
