Professional Seeking a Room in a Shared Apartment in Vienna

Hi,I'm Samuel.

I'm 24 years old and recently graduated with a Master's degree in Automation Engineering from the University of Bologna. I’m moving to Vienna for a job at Alstom starting from September 1st and I am currently searching for accommodation for a duration of at least six months, ideally two years.

I come from a small town in Italy up in the mountains, and for the past 5 years, I have been studying Engineering in Bologna. I also completed a six-month internship in Stuttgart, where I lived in a shared apartment, so I am already accustomed to sharing living spaces.
I would describe myself as a very active and sporty person; since back in Italy I live in a very green area, I tend to spend lots of time outside practising various sports activities such as running, cycling, and when it’s not outside, I enjoy working out at the gym as well.

Of course, to balance out all these movements, I also enjoy spending quality time with friends, whether it’s having a couple of beers, having a meal together, or exploring new places, either by travelling to other cities or discovering new trails to hike.

In my free time, I also enjoy cooking, and watching movies, or TV series. As every good Italian, I could bake you an excellent pizza or prepare an original Carbonara 😊.
I am looking for a living environment where I could also spend some quality time with my flatmates, perhaps hanging out together once in a while or practicing some sports together; in general, to build a friendly living space with my future flatmates. At the same time, I recognize the importance of respecting each other’s spaces and privacy as sharing flats is also about finding a balance between the two.

For me, it's important to maintain a tidy living environment and I am dedicated to keeping things organised and clean. Unfortunately, I don’t speak German but I will learn it and I speak English quite well and I hope that won’t be a barrier for our communication.

I am really interested in this flat, as from the advertisement it seems very nice! I just have a couple of questions I would like to ask. I'd like to know what is included in the rent cost and if there are some extra fees not already included, just to make sure of the final price. Is it possible to rent the house starting from September 1st for a duration of at least six months, and potentially extend it for one or two years? Also, is the room already furnished? For instance, bed, desk, and wardrobe; just the essentials as I wouldn’t need much more than that. Could you provide me with some additional photos of the room and the shared spaces?

If possible, it would be great to organise an online viewing as at the moment I am still in Italy.
