WG Zimmer in Jena Zentrum frei

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe des Paradiesbahnhofs.

Zum Bahnhof, Busbahnhof und zur Straßenbahn braucht man nur 3-5min zu Fuß. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist das Haus aber recht ruhig gelegen, da es sich im Hinterhof befindet.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind überall in Fußreichweite zu finden. Der Edeka Holzmarkt ist nur 3min entfernt und auch zu Tegut, Rewe, Aldi und Müller sind es nur wenige Minuten. Der Campus der Uni und die Einkaufszentren Goethe Galerie sowie Neue Mitte sind ebenfalls fast um die Ecke. Sollte das doch zu weit sein, haben wir direkt im Erdgeschoss unseres Hauses einen kleinen syrischen Supermarkt.

Ansonsten kann man von unserer Wohnung direkt in den Paradiespark und zum Unisportzentrum laufen. Die Volkshochschule und ein Spielecafé sowie kleine Imbisse und ein Späti sind in den Nachbarstraßen zu finden.

The flat is very centrally located near the Paradiesbahnhof.

It only takes 3-5 minutes to get to the train station, bus station and tram. Despite the central location, the house is quite quiet because it is in the backyard.

Shopping facilities can be found everywhere within walking distance. Edeka Holzmarkt is only 3 minutes away and Tegut, Rewe, Aldi and Müller are only a few minutes away. The university campus and the Goethe Galerie and Neue Mitte shopping centres are also almost around the corner. If that is too far, we have a small Syrian supermarket right on the ground floor of our house.

Otherwise, you can walk directly from our flat to Paradiespark and the university sports centre. The adult education centre and a games café as well as small snack bars and a Späti can be found in the neighbouring streets.

Wir sind eine gemischte WG aus Studierenden, Auszubildenden und erwerbstätigen Personen.
Um die MitbewohnerInnen mal etwas genauer vorzustellen: Sascha (23) macht seinen Master in Physik und mag Videospiele und Wandern. Lukas (27) ist gerade im Praktikumsteil seiner Ausbildung zum Erzieher und geht gerne klettern. Lukas und Sascha spielen gerne Magic Karten und freuen sich immer über Mitspieler! Elisa (26) arbeitet bei einer Sternwarte in der Nähe und macht ihren PhD dort. Sie kommt aus Italien und macht oft sehr schöne Musik und singt dazu. Jule (19) wohnt seit diesem Sommer bei uns, sie studiert Anglistik im 1. Semester und liest gerne in ihrer Freizeit.

Unsere WG hat kein Wohnzimmer, dafür sind aber Küche und Balkon unsere wichtigen Treffpunkte. In der Küche läuft man sich immer mal wieder über den Weg und kann ein entspanntes Schwätzchen halten, während man kocht. Auf unserem Südbalkon stehen zwei Sofas, die, mit Decken bei Kälte, ganzjährig benutzt werden können. Dort hängen wir am häufigsten rum. Da der Balkon direkt an die Küche angeschlossen ist, kann man auch gerne mal sein Essen oder seinen Kaffee mit rausnehmen und dort in der Sonne sitzen.

Wir haben in der WG alle recht eigene Arbeitszeiten und Tagesrhythmen, weswegen es nicht so geschäftig ist, wie man das bei fünf Leuten vielleicht erwarten würde. Das bedeutet aber auch, dass wir morgens eigentlich nie Stau in unseren Badezimmern haben.
Grundsätzlich sind wir eine entspannte WG, in der man immer mal miteinander quatschen oder chillen kann, in der man in seinem Zimmer auch seine Ruhe hat.

Wir freuen uns, neue Leute kennen zu lernen, die die WG auch mitgestalten können, also schreib uns gerne und vielleicht trifft man sich dann zu einem persönlichen Kennenlernen :)

We are a mixed flat-sharing household consisting of students, trainees and employed persons.
To introduce the flatmates a little more precisely: Sascha (23) is doing his Master's in physics and likes video games and hiking. Lukas (27) is currently in the practical part of his training to become an educator and likes to go climbing. Elisa (26) works at an observatory nearby and is doing her PhD there. She comes from Italy and often makes very beautiful music and sings to it. Lastly, our newest flatmate since August: Jule (19) is studying German Philology, due to that she likes to read in her free time!

Our flat-sharing community doesn't have a living room, but the kitchen and balcony are our important meeting places. We run into each other in the kitchen every now and then and can have a relaxed chat while we cook. We have now furnished our south-facing balcony with two sofas on it which, with blankets when it's cold, can be used all year round. That's where we hang out most often. Since the balcony is directly connected to the kitchen, you can also take your food or coffee outside and sit in the sun.

In the shared flat, we all have our own working hours and daily rhythms, so it's not as busy as you might expect with five people. But that also means that we never have traffic jams in our bathrooms in the morning.
Basically, we are a relaxed flat-sharing community where you can always chat or chill with each other, and where you can also have peace and quiet in your room.

Ansonsten wichtige Infos wären:
- Wir haben einen Putzplan für die WG mit Putzaufgaben für alle. Der funktioniert mal besser, mal schlechter, aber jeder hat ein offenes Ohr falls dich etwas stören sollte.
- Auf dem Balkon darf geraucht werden, in der restlichen Wohnung nicht.
- Wir sprechen in der WG Deutsch und Englisch miteinander, da wir auch englischsprachige MitbewohnerInnen haben.
- Kennenlernen werden wahrscheinlich in der ersten Januarwoche stattfinden.

Other important information would be:
- We have a cleaning plan for the flat with cleaning tasks for everyone. Sometimes it works out fine, sometimes not, but everyone has an open ear if something is bothering you!
- Smoking is allowed on the balcony, but not in the rest of the flat.
- We speak German and English with each other, as we also have English-speaking flatmates.
- We will do the meetings with interests in beginning of January probably.
