Hello lovely people,
I am looking for a new flatmate starting from ~ 01.10. until the end of March 2025, with the possibility to extend.
The room is ~14m², has a walk-in closet and a sleeping couch.
We would share a big living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and the bathroom.
The transport connections are excellent. It's a 9-minute walk to U-Bahn Turmstraße and a 15-minute walk to S-Bahn Beusselstraße.
15 minutes by M10 tram to Hauptbahnhof.
Many shopping options, restaurants and cafés are nearby.
I would love to share the apartment with like-minded people and create an environment where everybody feels comfortable and at home. Let’s share talks and laughs, have coffee, a glass of wine, or dinner together once in a while and not get weird when someone needs their intro time (I do need it quite a bit actually 😁). I like a clean and rather calm environment as I work from home a lot and see the apartment as a place to retreat to.
A bit about me:
I work as a therapist, practice yoga regularly, and like to enjoy summer at the lake (Plötzensee is only 10 minutes by bike - yay). My intense party phase is over, but I do enjoy going to bars or to a club or open-air once in a while. I care about social and climate justice and also integrate those topics into my work. I love practicing my Spanish, so if you are a Latinx, you get a bonus. 😉 Oh, and sometimes I take care of a little dog that I used to live with in my old WG, so you should be fine with that. :)
Mary will move in at the end of September. She is from the US, 24 years old and will start doing her Masters in Potsdam this fall.
Who would be a match for this WG:
You would describe yourself as an emotionally mature person that knows how to openly communicate. You are rather aligned with the left side of the political spectrum and you don't work from home full time. I realised that those things are quite important to me and the rest we'll figure out when we get to know each other. :)
