It's a bright, spacious 28 square meter room with a big balcony and fully furnished with:
- wardrobe and clothes rail
- big sofa (can be used as sofa bed)
- double bed (160x200cm)
- big working space with desk and screen
- more shelves and storage options
In addition, there is a big, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and laundry machine, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, and a guest toilet, all shared :)
The location is just perfect - you can reach more than half of Cologne's tram lines within less than 10 minutes walking (Barbarossaplatz, Zülpicher Platz, Poststr., Köln Süd), yet the street is a one-way street so it's usually not that loud (of course, you are still in the middle of the city and it's seldom completely quiet).
I am going to Kenya for work for a couple of weeks and am subletting my apartment for that period. I definitely have to be in Nairobi from 31 August until 16 October, but would like to extend my stay depending on how long my room will be sublet, and I have to come back to Germany latest end of November when my visa expires.
You will be sharing the flat with two lovely flatmates:
Leo is a scientist at a research center at the Uniklinik Köln and spends most of the days in the lab from morning till evening (he truly loves science!). He is originally from India but has spent many years in Cologne already and we've been friends for almost 7 years and been living together for almost 3 years. He is a very friendly, calm guy who likes to have time to himself but we also hang out a lot together and share a lot of friends who sometimes visit us in our apartment.
Anna, 26, is currently doing an internship and finishing her master in Cologne. Leo and I got to know her a couple of years ago at a festival, and we've been friends since then. Anna loves cooking vegan and hanging out with friends and all three of us like to sit in the kitchen or the balcony to have a glass of wine together every once in a while, but there is no obligation to hang out, of course ;)
I would say we are very open people who are respectful but also a bit crazy and fun-loving, and while we all work a lot, we also love to enjoy life!
