Das Zimmer ist "klein" aber fein und hat hohe Decken. Es besitzt ein großes Fenster und einen Parkettboden. Durch die Fenster fällt ausreichend Licht herein. Wer Altbau mag und ist hier genau richtig, und wird die Tür(en) zu schätzen wissen.
Die Austraße befindet sich direkt in der Fußgängerzone der Innenstadt. Somit sind sämtliche Essens-, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten Bambergs zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch ein Großteil der Gebäude der Uni Bamberg wie Bibliotheken, Mensa und Studienkanzlei befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zentraler kann man kaum leben. Wenn man das Fenster offen hat kann man dem Trubel der Stadt folgen, ist es zu hat man seine Ruhe.
