2 PhD students looking to rent a place

Ali:
I am a PhD student at the Institut for Biocemistry, coming from Australia where I was very active in volunteering and community engagement with charities. Since arriving in Erlangen, covid has put a stop to that but I look forward to restarting when I can. I enjoy social environments but also respect (and desire for myself) some alone time too. I would look for social events for housemates to do together (outdoor hikes, dinner, movie night) every now and then. I enjoy outdoor activities and try to go on a small trail with some friends every weekend if I can :) My friend is also a PhD student in Law. We both keep clean, are respectful of others and always happy to have fun in the weekend (with covid safety of course!)

My name is Eklavya Vasudev, male, from India and here for my PhD in law through the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. I'm clean, fun, easy going and like shared activities but also respect privacy. In my free time I read and listen to music. I love outdoor activities and hikes.

I have a lot of experience living with interesting flatmates from around the world. I've lived in the US, Canada and of course India. One of the things I want to do here apart from work is to learn German.

My work comprises of law and policy around climate change and I'm passionate about the environment. It would be interesting to live with people who share similar ideologies and a similar world view. I'm also looking forward to exploring German culture.
