Hello to everyone who needs a room in Oldenburg for 6 weeks.
In October I will not be in my lovely shared flat in Oldenburg for 6 weeks and am therefore looking for someone who needs a place to stay for this time. The room is 14 square meters and is overlooking our main garden. It will be fully furnished, but of course, there will be enough space for your things :)
The house is in Bloherfelde, on the outskirts of Oldenburg. The bus stops are Eschenplatz or Hörneweg. Our lovely shared apartment is very close to the nature reserve. Aktiv Irma is about 5 minutes away by bike. It is about 10 minutes to Haarentor University. Wechloy is closer. It is 15-20 minutes to the city center
We would describe our shared apartment life as very communal. We like to sit together at dinner and sometimes do nice things together, like going to the Woldsee (10 minutes away), to demonstrations (against right-wing extremism, for the climate, etc.) or having a barbecue in the garden and making a fire. It is particularly important to us that people want to live together and we are happy to have people who are enthusiastic about community, gardening and looking after the chickens.
Everyone has different interests and gets involved where they can and want to. We are very considerate of one another and try to meet regularly, but not too often, for shared apartment meetings. We keep a shared apartment fund from which all errands are done, and everyone has a cooking day when we cook for the shared apartment once a week. Sounds like a lot for 5-6 people, but it is not too much and there is always something to eat in the evening ;) We would be happy if you would like to :) We are all vegetarian/vegan too.
on the first floor there are three more apartments, each of which has one person living in it. We are in contact with most of these people and are especially good friends with Jonas.
So we are 8 people in total. We would be happy to have more people in our house and ideally you too :D
Our general interests are gardening, carpentry, crafting and building, lying outside in the sun, social and political topics, philosophy or chilling in front of the TV. From time to time we also like to go out and party if there is a cool party going on.
Especially in summer everyone is scattered, but there is always someone to chill with or do something with if you feel like it :)
