See you !

Hallo to all the room-seekers!!
We are on the search for 2 people, or 1 person and a couple, to fill our cute little alsacian house. Our home is located at the boarder of Fegersheim, next to the forest and the rivel Ill. It is ideal for you, if you are searching for a place with a garden, close to nature and away from the city noises, but still just a bike ride away from the center. But let’s get to the specifics you are interested to know.
About us: We are Markus, Foteini and Gala, a couple and a doggo, who have been enjoying this house for almost 3 years now. When we arrived in Strasbourg, we were motivated to create a house-share, where 4 or 5 people would share their living in a community, keep a little garden, cook, eat and have some nice times together. We were lucky enough to find the correct people, and so was our little community created. Now, due to changes in life, our housemates are leaving us, to go and discover new places, and we are searching for new interesting people to share our home with.
Markus is a 34 years old carpenter who loves his job, as well as spending time in the workshop with little projects, mountain biking, bouldering, snowboarding and with any other adventure that might come up. He comes from Sudtirol, a german speaking part of the north of Italy and also speaks English and French.
Foteini is coming from Greece and is 35 years old. She is a biologist and works at a research institute in Illkirch. She has lived in different places in Europe during the last 10 years and currently enjoys the life in Alsace. She is a passionate rock climber, while she also likes going for short runs, making walks with Gala and just being out in nature. She speaks also English, german and French.
Gala is a beautiful dog of a considerable size that loves to be petted and to go for walks.
About the house: Our home is a two-store house with a workshop and a little garden with enough space to grow some vegetables and keep a table and a barbeque for the warmer months. There are 3 sleeping rooms, two of them available, one bigger and one smaller. The other spaces include a kitchen, a living room, an office (can be modified for other uses depending on the needs of the nee tenants), a storage room and two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bathtub.
About our way of living: From the start of this house-share, it was clear to us that we want to create a community, because we like to live together with people, not just to shara the rent. With our previous housemates we did the shopping together, we cooked, had dinner together and sometimes enjoyed an evening out together. We would love to continue with this way of shared living. When it comes to house works and cleaning, we don’t need to follow strict rules, though we appreciate keeping our place nice and clean so we can all enjoy it better. It has been working well with no cleaning plans and just common sense and good intentions, but we are open to discussing different ways if needed. We are not vegetarian and we appreciate a good meal that includes meat once in a while, but we try not to consume it often We like to do the best we can for our planet also by saving electricity and not heating too much in winter but just wearing a sweater. Finally, it is important for us to be able to invite our friends and family to spend some days with us in the house. We are also very happy to have other people (your friends) over for some days.
If all of the above sounds good to you and you can imagine being part of such a community, feel free to write us here, or by email at
See you soon,
Markus, Foteini, Gala

You can get to the center of Strasbourg by bike in 40 minutes drive on the bikeway next to the canal, 15 minutes drive by car or 10 minutes by train.
