Hello! My name is Lorenzo García Tejada, current PhD student in RWTH. I am moving into a single studio and thus I am looking for someone to take my current room in my shared apartment :)
The room is about 15 m2, very spacious and bright during the day. The room faces North so it's great to keep cool in the summer months! It goes directly on the Adalbertsteinweg street, but the room is properly soundproofed, so there is not much noise at night or when the windows are closed.
The apartment is in a building with families and young professionals, so there is generally quiet and peace through the day and specially the nights. The apartment has 2 rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, oven and dishwasher, as well as a number of small appliances. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower handle and a washing machine, as well as a heater.
The apartment is located in the western part of Adalbertsteinweg. By foot, it's about 5-10 minutes to aquis plaza and 10-15 minutes to the city center or to Bushof. It is also very well connected with bus routes being between the stops of Scheibenstraße and Kaiserplatz.
The apartment is located right over the supermarlet Penny and the store Hilal, which makes it extra convenient to buy fresh produce daily. Other stores like TEDi and pharmacies are also in the area, as well as numerous restaurants with very nice food. Aquis Plaza is also right at the end of the street, with the Rewe in it, its stores and restaurants.
Being close to both the Frankenberger neighborhood and Kurpark, it's especially easy to go for sunny walks among plants or for a jog. In terms of fitness, the World of Fitness gym studio 1 is right around the corner, and there is also regular bus connections to reach Mcfit in Rothe Erde. Fitx is also within walkable distance, about 15 minutes by foot.
The apartment is shared with one other person for the total of 2 rooms it has. The current roommate is Xin, a Master student of Robotics Engineering. He enjoys cooking, plants and art, so the apartment is typically smelling of nice food and looking fresh and vibrant.
There is also a living room in the apartment , but with the current agreement with my roommate he uses it exclusively as a studio room since his room is smaller.
The room is planned to be passed over partly furnished. Most of the furniture in the pictures is my own and i will take it with me to my new apartment. The pieces I'm looking to leave for the next tenant to take over are :
- the 3-door white wardrobe
- a four compartment vertical cupboard
- the deskchair and armchair
- the small table for the tv
The rest of the take-over costs are the run-down for the rest of the furniture in the apartment, mainly the kitchen and the bathroom.
The cold rent is 850€ per month for the whole apartment, and with the rest utility costs, the monthly rent goes up to 1000€ shared between both.
