Since I am moving to Frankfurt my room is available from the first of May. I've had a wonderful time here and now it's your turn ✨
The room is large and, due to the windows on two walls and the glass door to the terrace, it is very very bright, but of course all this can be closed with blinds. From the largest window you can see the lake from autumn to spring, and in the summer the bush (tree?) that grows in front of the house ideally shields you from the street and the hottest rays of the sun, which allows you not to feel the heat in the room even in the middle of summer. And in winter, a large radiator heats the entire room well. You also have your own access to the terrace, where there are two sofas, a table with benches, a grill and a hammock. There are shelves in the room, as well as a wardrobe and a 120x200 bed with a mattress. I would like to have 150€ for all of this. There is also no ceiling lamp in the room, but there is a floor lamp from the landlord, which, to be honest, was quite enough for me, but you can also add your own lamp. If you need help with this, you can always ask your roommate Andreas or our landlord, who is also the owner of the house who lives on the third floor. But don’t worry, he never distracts with his presence, only if you need something, he will always gladly come to the rescue if he is not traveling somewhere outside the city.
The house is located in the second row from Bodensee , the train station is a two-minute short walk away, the Netto store is five minutes away and there is almost everything you might need in everyday life. You can also walk from the house to the lake in 1-2 minutes. You can reach Konstanz by train in 15 minutes and Singen in 20± minutes. There is also a bike path from Allensbach to Konstanz, but I honestly don’t know how long it will take, sorry :)
The house consists of three floors and is divided into three separate apartments. Our apartment is on the first floor. We have a large kitchen with a funny wall color and it has a dishwasher, microwave and oven, we also a combined bathroom with toilet. In the basement there is space for storing old things and washing machines, one for each apartment. In the garage next to the house there is space to store a bicycle. If you have a car, sometimes it will most likely be problematic to leave it right in front of the door, but free parking is located a couple of minutes from the house.
You will live with Andreas (26) and Ruan (23).
Ruan is doing an internship in Singen and enjoys sports and cooking. She is moving out of our apartment on June 15th as she finishes her internship year and returns home, so you can participate in choosing a new roommate.
Andreas is in his final semester of civil engineering at the University of Konstanz, loves to read and is always someone you can talk to about something over a beer or two. He will also be leaving home at the end of this summer as he finishes his studies and moves in with his girlfriend.
We recently started using a cleaning schedule, but it was more my idea, so I think you can somehow agree on this with the others. Everyone has their own personal space, but of course everyone is open to meeting in the evenings and cooking together or swimming in the lake.
If you would like to visit the room in person or meet via video, I will be happy to welcome your request :)
