Two Professional Females with Cat Searching for Roommates in Arlington

We are two young professional females (22 and 25) with a cat who recently signed a 12- month lease for
a house to begin September 15th . We are searching for two more female roommates for a 4 bedroom,
3-bathroom house that was recently refurbished in a quiet residential neighborhood. The house is
located 15 minutes walking distance away from the Ballston metro and also 3 minutes walking distance
away from the Custis trail for bikers and runners! It is about a 10-minute walk to downtown Ballston
which has plenty of fun restaurants, bars, a mall with movie theater, gyms, and grocery stores.

A bit about the house: There is a lovely kitchen with granite counter tops, a gas range, and a large
refrigerator with bottom pullout freezer - all of which are brand new! There is an additional refrigerator
in the basement for extra food and drinks. Additional common spaces include a front yard, fenced
backyard with patio (perfect for cookouts!), living room, and basement TV room. There is also a top
loading washer and dryer and plenty of additional storage space in the basement. There is a driveway as
well as curbside parking in front of the house.

There are currently two bedrooms with shared bath available for $825 each, not including utilities.
A bit about us:

Adèle – I recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Finance and I will be working for a
consulting firm in their risk and compliance division. I love spending time with my friends, watching
Netflix, running (sometimes), and traveling. As a roommate, I try to be considerate of others and keep
common areas relatively tidy. I also love baking so I’ll make lots of treats for everyone!

Caroline- Originally from Richmond, VA, I currently work as mechanical engineer in space industry. I
graduated from Virginia Tech and the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany. I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing with my cat, community outreach, and watching Game of Thrones. As a roommate, I try to remember to restock the community dish soap (etc.) when it runs out, and I don’t mind vacuuming common spaces when they need it.

A bit about the cat: Björn is a 1 year old domestic long hair, indoor cat. He loves to play, socialize, and cuddle. He is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations.

The security deposit would be $875 for each roommate, but rent will be appropriately allocated by room size.
