Hi there, we are Frauke, Moustafa and Lisa.
As Lisa is not going to be in Bayreuth for 3 months, we are looking for a suitable flatmate for this summer. Whether you are working or studying – if you are interested in living together and not just parallel, then this is for you. (please read all)
(People for the Wagner Festival are also welcome to rent for the whole period of time.)
You have space in a double room! One living space is about 20m² and your bedroom is about 10m². Both rooms have windows letting in the morning sun. The rooms are furnitured with the necessities to feel comfortable :)
(It is possible to use our bed sheets or you can bring your own if you like.)
The flat has a bathroom with a shower and a cosy kitchen with herbs on the window sill in summer. Everything necessary (e.g. kitchen equipment, dish washer, electric kettle, blender) is already there. The house has a little green backyard where it is possible to have barbecue or just relax in summer. We also have a raised bed and with luck Frauke will grow some veggies and herbs again that she shares :)
The location is ideal. You can get everywhere by foot or bike in some minutes, e.g. city, supermarket, cinema, ...

-> city center(Rewe, Norma, cinema, shopping mall etc): <5mins by walk
-> main train station: <10mins by walk
-> supermarkets (Rewe, Netto, denn's Biomarkt, dm): <10mins by walk
-> university: 15mins by bike, 20mins by bus
On top you can get into nature real fast: the Roter Main river is just around the flat. Following the river will take you into nature, endless fields and forest areas.
Even though the flat is located in such a central position, the street is actually quite calm and you‘ll probably not notice anything. If needed, you get good chances finding a near free parking lot.
Join in the shared flat life! There are no long-established rules and we can organise our life as we like and your ideas are very welcome. Frauke has a lot of experience in living in shared flats and would prefer if you do, too. Also we would appreciate a tidy person (without an obsession for cleaning, though). A basic tidiness in all common rooms is important to us.
We like short and long kitchen talks with a cup of a hot beverage and are open to joint trips and going out now and then, either to cultural events or into nature. Of course there can be days of withdrawal as well. Everyone should feel at home. Also we‘d like to share some common things like food, that everybody eats a lot. Just if you like to party all night, this flat is not the place for that activity.
Some words to each of us:
Frauke (29) studies a master course at the faculty for engineering. She is environmentally conscious, cooks a lot and likes to be outside in nature. She would like to make something out of the raised bed behind the house. On top she volunteers at RadBox, a self-help-workshop for bikes at university. For her, good days start with a cup of tea and some morning sports.
Moustafa (25) studies Intercultural German Studies now. He graduated in Arts & Design and worked as a Graphic designer and Music producer/sound engineer. He likes Drawing, watching movies, deep talks, walks in nature.
However, we do not expect you to have the same hobbies and interests as we do. Getting along well with each other is the most important thing for us.
The flat also has a room in the cellar, where you can park your bike and store some more things. Also, we can hang our laundry to dry into a room just below the roof.
The rent is 454€. This includes all costs (also „GEZ“ (broadcasting fees) and Internet).
As the case may be, a sublease till mid October 2025 is also possible. We could talk about it in person :)
