I’m looking to swap my 25m² unfurnished room in a bright apartment on Wühlischstraße (Friedrichshain) for a room in a quieter area.
About my current place:
🏠 Location: Wühlischstraße, Friedrichshain
🌿 Features: Spacious (25m²), bright, with two large trees in front of the window. There’s also a balcony in the kitchen.
🛁 Bathroom with a bathtub (shared).
🚫 No shared living room in the apartment.
💰 Rent: ~630€ per month.
📜 Long-term contract – Looking for a long-term swap, but open to a trial period of a few months to see if the flatshare is a good fit.
🛍️ Shops nearby: Rewe & Aldi (5 min walk), Boxhagener Platz (5 min walk).
🚆 Transport: 10 min walk to Ostkreuz Bahnhof & U8 (Samariterstraße).
🏳️🌈 Flatmate: A super friendly and warm gay cis man (37), who prefers to live with another gay cis man.

👤 About me: I’m a 36-year-old gay cis man, currently job searching (UI Design, Admin assistant) but fully financially stable (Schufa (request now) available). Responsible with rent and shared expenses. I’m a kind, calm and empathetic person who loves to laugh and share good vibes. I love nature, hiking, music, and dance, and I enjoy going to raves from time to time (sober). I practice meditation, yoga, and Qi Gong, and I value a peaceful, balanced lifestyle.
🏡 What I’m looking for: A calm, quiet space where I can relax and recharge. Ideally:
✔️ A room of similar size (ideally but not mandatory, unfurnished is fine).
✔️ A rent of max. 600€ per month.
✔️ A long-term contract, but also open to a trial period of a few months to make sure it’s a good match.
✔️ A location inside or near the Ring – Neukölln, Kreuzberg, Grunewald, Baumschulenweg are my favorites, but open to others.
✔️ Preferably close to a park (not mandatory).
✔️ A shared flat with one or more flatmates who also value a peaceful environment.
