Hi!
We are looking for someone to take over my room in our 4-person WG. I decided to move out for sometime. This means that the room come with the furniture :).
The room is 24 square meters with an east-facing window (sun in the morning). It has a private balcony with a nice view on the street where you can chill in the sun. It has a door leading to the neighbouring room (Zwischentür) which remains covered (with wood) for sound isolation.
The flat is located on the Friedrichshain side of the Ostkreuz S-Bahn station. Therefore, you can reach the trains within a minute. The house is an Altbau building and the flat is on the first floor. The flat has 4 rooms, one bathroom, storage room, one big kitchen/living room and a big shared outside area. The total area of the flat is 130 square meters.
You would be sharing the flat with 3 people ( aged 24-29). We all come from different parts of the world and we are good friends. So we spend a lot of time together in the kitchen, share meals, have movie nights and invite (when possible) people over. We are all passionate about music and would love a flatmate who respects and ideally shares that. One of us is doing a master's and the others are working from home. We mostly speak English, however, we can all speak German. We have no strict rules or schedules, but rather speak to each other openly when something comes up. We try to share our responsibilities in the flat and stay flexible.
We're quite idealistic when it comes to our future flatmate. So, we're not just looking for someone to occupy the room, but rather someone we'd be happy to spend time with and get to know better.
So as you might have understood from the previous lines, it all comes down to whether we would get along, so we'd be happy to meet you and get a sense of the person you are. You can come over and see the flat or we could arrange a video-call.
The room is free and the contract duration is flexible. We would prefer someone who moves in for 2 months to 6 months. The rent is a total of 810 euros per month, including all the expenses. We calculate this price based on a fair distribution of the costs and room sizes. Sadly, for now, an Anmeldung is not possible.
