The room is ca. 14m² with two windows. It’s unfurnished and we can organize shared spaces to accommodate extra storage if needed. Rent is €530 warm, with a deposit of €900. Our moving roommate is asking €50 for the dishwasher & fridge, which can be paid in installments. The lease is unlimited, registration is possible, and a sublease agreement is available—with the option to join the main lease if things go well.
The apartment itself is spacious, featuring a cozy living room with sofas & a TV, a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, two bathrooms, and a small balcony.
Die WG befindet sich in der Nähe der U-Bahn Stationen Hallesches Tor und Checkpoint Charlie. Außerdem ist die S-Bahn am Anhalter Bahnhof circa 8 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es diverse in der Nähe. Und unserer Erfahrung nach kommt eins auch sehr gut zum Spazieren gehen in den Gleisdreieckpark oder den Viktoria Park. Ansonsten wohnen wir auch nicht besonders weit weg vom Mehringdamm.
Who We Are:
We’re a leftist and trans majority WG, valuing shared care, responsibility, and a balanced mix of social time & personal space. While we don't want a “Zweck-WG” and want to have a WG-Life in addition to our own private ones, work or studying comes in the way sometimes.
• Quinn (24, white German, trans masc, they/xer/er) – Studying Political Science and working in accounting, into gaming, bouldering and antifacism and whatever their current hyperfixation is.
• Gabriell (37, white Caribbean, trans masc, he/they) – Cultural worker and designer focused on building community and career, and learning the language. A communist who enjoys strength training, historical materialism, and structurally honest design. Values transparency, an organized, clean, caring and communicative home that feels like a place to recharge.
• Moses (26, white German, trans masc, he/they) – Works in personal assistance (nursing), loves cooking, reading, and sports. Sometimes tries his hand at hobbies like fermentation or mushroom growing. A fellow stoner would be nice, but no pressure.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’d love another trans, non-binary, or genderqueer person 23+. Since we’re all politically on the radical left and active, we’d prefer someone who shares these values or at least doesnt have anything against them.
🌱 We mostly eat vegan, so vegetarian-friendly is ideal.
🏠 We know housing access isn’t equal, so we prioritize BIPoC, minorities, sex workers, people without a safe stay, or those in precarious situations.
Ideally this is not your first co-living situation. We would like someone that knows how to follow a cleaning schedule and can clean up after themself. We try to have a plenary once in a while to talk about how things are going with the cleaning and the social atmosphere of the wg. It would be great if you make time for this and communicate your needs and wants in regard to living together.
