Die Lage? Jackpot!

Mitten in Kreuzberg, am Ende der Häuserzeile, mit Fenstern nach drei Seiten und dementsprechend lichtdurchflutet, liegt die Wohnung zwischen Urbanhafen, Böcklerpark und dem Park am ehem. Luisenstädtischen Kanal. Vom Balkon, hoch im 6. OG, schweift der Blick über Wasser, Bäume und die Dächer von Kreuzkölln.
Laufe drei Minuten den Landwehrkanal entlang, schon stehst du an der Admiralsbrücke. Weitere drei Minuten und du bist am Maybachufer. Dort gibt's, neben dem bekannten Wochenmarkt, auch Supermärkte, Fitnessbuden und Geschäfte mit allerlei Spezialitäten.

Hervorragende Kneipen gibt's hier in 36 überall, das Butzke ist fußläufig und ansonsten hilft dir die BVG. Die ist auch nicht weit, zur Prinzenstr. und zum Kotti sind's zu Fuß je 5 Minuten.

Die angrenzenden Kiezstraßen sind klein und wenig befahren. Daher ist Verkehrslärm hier praktisch Fehlanzeige. Im Sommer hört man (nur bei offenem Fenster) vom Kanal her das sanfte Raunen hunderter Stimmen, was ich persönlich sehr entspannend finde.

The geographic location? Jackpot!

Slap bang in the middle of Kreuzberg, and thereby the middle of town, the apartment sits right at the end of a row of houses. That's why it has windows on three sides is flush with natural light. Right next to the building are two parks and the Landwehr canal, of which we enjoy a fantastic view: On high from the 6th floor balcony, there eye soars across the water, trees and the roofs of Kreuzkölln.

Walk along the canal for three minutes and you'll find yourself at Admiralsbrücke, a popular hangout in the summer months. Another three minutes and you'll find yourself at Maybachufer. In addition to the well-known weekly market, there are also supermarkets, fitness shops and shops with all kinds of specialties around that area.

There are excellent bars everywhere in here in Kreuzberg, Ritter Butzke is within walking distance and otherwise BVG will move you around town: the nearest metro stations are a fives minute walk away.

The neighboring streets are small and see but little in the way of traffic. Therefore, noise is practically non-existent here. In summer you'll hear the soft murmuring of hundreds of voices coming from the canal (only with the windows open, tho), which I personally find quite relaxing.

Da mir an einem harmonischen und interessanten WG-Leben gelegen ist, habe ich mit den folgenden Zeilen versucht, dir einen möglichst genauen Eindruck davon zu vermitteln, mit welchen Menschen du ggf. zusammenziehen würdest. Solltest du interessiert sein, so wird es dir sicherlich zum Vorteil gereichen, sie dir aufmerksam durchzulesen. Liebsten Dank =)

Wer kennt sie nicht, die scheinbar konträren Bedürfnisse nach Geselligkeit und Ruhe? In diesem Hause soll beides möglich sein und in einem ausgeglichenen Verhältnis zueinander stehen. So arbeite und werke ich zwar viel in meinem Zimmer, habe jedoch fast immer die Tür halb offen stehen, damit Kommunikation und Interaktion sich stets eingeladen fühlen.

Gäste zu empfangen finde ich etwas wundervolles und freue mich auch, deine Leute kennen zu lernen. Zusammen in der Wohnküche zu chillen, quatschen, was trinken usw. finde ich super. Gleichzeitig sollte jedoch auf die Ruhebedürfnisse aller Beteiligten Rücksicht genommen werden.
Partys können hier während der Nachtruhestunden leider nur bedingt gefeiert werden, da es sich um ein ruhiges Haus handelt und ich mein hohes Ansehen bei den Nachbarn nicht auf's Spiel zu setzen plane. Tagsüber ist aber kein Problem: So ist hier jedes Jahr am 01.05. große Action und danach geht's raus zum MyFest/Demo.

Leider hat der Tag nur 24 Stunden, denn es gbit vieles, das mir Spaß macht! Dazu gehören:
Zeit mit Familie, mit meiner Partnerin und mit Freunden verbringen; Mikroprozessoren programmieren; die Hauspflanzen pflegen; lesen, lesen, lesen; Podcasts hören; kochen; in der Wohnküche oder im Zimmer quatschen; kooperative Brettspiele; zusammen mit meiner VR-Brille zocken; photographieren; Radfahren; Spazierengehen, etc.
Ich steh' auf ausgefallene Musik und zeitgenössische Kunst, besuche daher gerne Konzerte, Ausstellungen, Museen, etc.

Praktisch immer habe ich irgendwelche Projekte, sei's home improvement, Schraub-, Löt- oder Bastelarbeiten, Dinge reparieren, Gemüse auf dem Balkon oder Gourmet-Pilze in speziellen Kisten anbauen... mein allzeit hungriges Gehirn will ständig neue Skills und Wissen futtern =D
Vielleicht könnten wir solche oder ähnliche Projekte sogar gemeinsam angehen?

Sollte ich mich mit ein paar Adjektiven beschreiben müssen, so würden mir bspw. empathisch, umgänglich, offen, extrovertiert, unprätentiös, politisch, progressiv, interessiert, feinfühlig, gesellig, aufrichtig und pro-sozial einfallen. Je genauer du dich in diesen Attributen wiedererkennst, umso höher die Chancen für ein harmonisches und inspirierendes Zusammenleben =)

Zugegeben bin ich auch ein bisschen neurotisch wenn's um den Haushalt geht. Na klar darsft du dessen gute Ausstattung gerne mitbenutzen. Doch lege ich sehr großen Wert auf pfleglichen, respektvollen Umgang damit. Um Verschleiß, Schäden oder Verluste zu vermeiden, gibt es manches zu beachten.
Wenn ich einen Gegenstand benötige, dann möchte ich ihn sofort finden. Deshalb hat alles seinen festen und gut durchdachten Platz - und muss, nach Gebrauch, auch dorthin zurück.
Reinlichkeit in den gemeinschaftlich genutzten Räumen hat ebenfalls sehr hohen Stellenwert. Verursache ich Verschmutzungen, entferne ich sie umgehend. Gleiches wünsche ich mir von dir. 1x/Woche gemeinsam oder abwechselnd die Bude putzen gehört ebenfalls dazu. Was dein Zimmer betrifft, kannst du natürlich machen was du willst - solange Möbel und Bausubstanz keinen Schaden nehmen.

Grundsätzlich ist es mir sehr wichtig, mich konstant weiter zu entwickeln und an mir zu arbeiten. Für mich ist dies der Schlüssel zu persönlichem Wachstum. Dies bedeutet insbesondere, mein eigenes Denken bzw. Verhalten zu reflektieren, ggf. Verantwortung zu übernehmen und entsprechende Lehren zu ziehen. Exakt denselben Anspruch habe ich an die Menschen in meinem Umfeld: Den größtmöglichen Respekt empfinde ich für alljene, die Selbstkritik üben, Fehler offen zugeben und dann aus ihnen lernen können. Das ist wahre Charaktergröße! Die Schuld stets bei anderen zu suchen oder sich aus der Verantwortung zu stehlen, ist hingegen ein absolutes no-go.
Um Konflikte oder unterschiedliche Interesse gar nicht erst zum Problem werden zu lassen, glaube ich daran, diese so früh wie möglich anzusprechen. Offene und gewaltfreie Kommunikation sind etwas wirklich tolles!

Ich ernähre mich größtenteils vegan, habe jedoch kein Problem damit, wenn Menschen Tierprodukte zu sich nehmen.

Meine Freundin ist oft zu Besuch und hat einen Schlüssel für die Wohnung. Wir gehen achtsam, sanft und fürsorglich miteinander um. Für Drama ist das Leben viel zu kostbar.

Gerne würde ich sicher sein, nicht auf Mietschulden sitzen zu bleiben. Dafür wäre eine Schufa (request now) -Auskunft sehr hilfreich. Solltest du studieren und noch keine Einkommensnachweise haben, wäre eine Bürgschaft von deinen Eltern in Ordnung. Da immer mal versehentlich etwas kaputt gehen kann, wäre ein Nachweis über eine Privat-Haftpflichtversicherung ebenfalls von Vorteil.

Socializing or peace and quiet – why not both? Though you’ll find me working and crafting in my room quite a lot, I like to keep the door half open so communication and interaction are always on the cards . I enjoy receiving and am looking forward to meeting your peeps. Chilling in the kitchen, chatting, having a drink, etc.? Count me in. Need to pull back and recharge those batteries? Obvioulsy that’s cool also.
Unfortunately, there won’t be much partying during the quiet hours. It is a quiet house and honestly I don't plan on jeopardizing my reputation with the neighbors. Different story during the daylight hours, though! Every year on May 1st I’m hosting a big brunch after which we head out for the Mayday celebrations.

Sadly, there’s just 24 hours to a day cuz there’s just too many things I love! Spending time with my family, my partner and my friends; programming microprocessors; caring for a plethora of house plants; reading tons of books; listening to podcasts; cooking; enjoying good conversation; cooperative board games; playing VR games on my Index; photography; riding my bikes around town; going for walks, just to name a few.
I’m into experimental music, contemporary art and a big history buff, so I like to go to concerts, exhibitions, museums, etc.

I practically always have some kind of project going on. Be it home improvement, tinkering with electronics, repairing broken items of all sorts, growing vegetables on the balcony or even gourmet mushrooms... Helping out, sharing skills or learning from one another are things I’m totally up for.
If I were to describe myself with a few adjectives, I’d think of empathetic, sociable, open, extroverted, unpretentious, political, progressive, interested, sensitive, sociable, sincere and pro-social. Maybe you recognize yourself in some of these attributes or have a few of your own that you would like to share?

Basically, it is very important to me to constantly develop and improve myself. For me this is the key to personal growth. By this I mean reflecting on my own thinking and behavior, taking responsibility if necessary and learning appropriate lessons. If you share that sentiment, chances are we’ll be getting along: Greatest possible respect to those who practice self-reflection, may admit mistakes and then learn from them. Now that is true character! Conversely, to always put the blame on others or to shirk responsibility is a big no-no.

In order to prevent conflicts or different interests from boiling over, I believe in addressing them head on and ASAP. Open and non-violent communication is a thing of beauty!

My diet is mostly (though not entirely) vegan, but I don’t mind people eating animal products.

In the past I have lived in the Netherlands, United States, Belgium and Croatia before Berlin finally grabbed a loving hold of me. If you’re of an international background, have travel experience or lived abroad I'm excited to hear your stories!

I’ve got a pretty clear sense of how the household should be run. Of course, you are welcome to use my stuff as long as you handle it with care and respect. When I need some item, I will want to find it immediately rather than having to search for it. That's why each article is assigned its own well-thought-out spot around the house. Cleanliness in shared areas is quite important to me also. If I get something dirty, I’m cleaning that up straight away – and I’d expect the same of you. Cleaning the place once per week – either together or according to a schedule – is par for the course. As far as your room is concerned, you may obviously do whatever you please. Just be sure to leave the furniture and the room itself undamaged.

Though I do like dogs, unfortunately they can't move in because as you now know I have a cat. A second cat could live with us as long as it, too, interacts gently and peacefully with other cats and is perfectly house trained.

I would like to be sure not to get stuck with people reneging on their rent payments. A "Schufa (request now) " report (comparable to a statement of credit worthiness) would be very helpful in this regard. They are available to internationals just as easily. If you are studying and cannot yet provide proof of income, a guarantee from your parents would be in order. Since things can always break accidentally, proof of private liability insurance would likewise be an advantage.
