Hey everyone,
We’re currently looking for a new long-term flatmate to join our beautiful shared apartment on Bergmannstraße. The flat is about 77m², very calm and peaceful despite being in a lively and well-loved neighborhood. It’s a true Altbau dream – sunny, with big windows, high ceilings, and wooden plank floors. Everything has been recently renovated and all the furniture is new. It’s located on the 3rd floor of the rear building, so you get the best of both worlds: central location and quiet atmosphere.
The entire flat is fully furnished – we have a washing machine, dishwasher, and all the kitchen essentials, as well as a lovely big bathroom with a bathtub and shower. There’s also a secure backyard space for bikes. All the rooms face the backyards with big leafy trees, so it feels like a slice of nature right in the middle of Berlin – honestly, it feels like a little holiday every day.
The rent includes everything: utilities, heating, green electricity, water, internet, etc. The room is fully furnished and Anmeldung (registration) is possible.
The apartment is conveniently located near two major U-Bahn stations: Mehringdamm (U6, U7) and Gneisenaustraße (U7), making it super easy to get around the city. Just a short walk away, the Landwehrkanal offers the perfect setting for outdoor activities like walking, yoga, running, or meditating.
The neighborhood itself is vibrant and full of life, with all the essential shops and supermarkets—such as REWE, Netto, Lidl, Rossmann, and even organic options—right on the same street. It’s also known as a hotspot for cafes and bars, so you’ll never run out of cozy or lively places to hang out. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin is even located in the front house—pretty lucky, right?
There are also tons of cool places nearby, including Tempelhofer Feld, a massive former airport turned public park that’s perfect for everything from kite-flying to biking. Other local gems include Umami (a favorite Vietnamese spot), Aufbauhaus and Betahaus (creative hubs and coworking spaces), Modulor (a dream for anyone into art supplies), and Just Music, a huge three-floor music store.
You can also check out the Prinzessinnengarten, an urban gardening space where you can grow your own veggies, or cool off in the summer at Prinzenbad, a popular outdoor pool. For a mix of culture and nightlife, there’s Checkpoint Charlie with the TAZ building, and clubs like Ritter Butzke and Prince Charles just around the corner.
We are Hui, Mariam and , Tatiana!
We’re looking for one more lovely person to join our cozy, international girls’ flat.
Hui is a program manager in the higher education sector, working for a university here in Berlin. She is Chinese, 28 years old, travels a lot and is very active on sports and going out in her free time. Since she has a normal working schedule, just like the other flatmates, she appreciates very much the quietness in the flat when it comes to late evening around bed time.
Marie, 28 years old, is a creative copywriter from Georgia. She loves hanging out with friends, biking around the city, going to cinemas and theatres, bars and restaurants, playing board games, and watching TV shows. Marie appreciates the friendly atmosphere at home and respecting flatmates’ personal space. She’s very clean and easygoing.
Tatiana is a 28 year old woman from Benin Republic. She works in the tech field, with a passion for artificial intelligence and digital innovation. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, dancing, discovering cozy cafés and restaurants, traveling, and going for walks. She also likes sports in general and staying active. Tatiana is friendly, respectful, and values a calm, clean home where everyone is mindful of shared spaces. She enjoys a good conversation now and then but also values peace and personal space.
We are looking for someone who’s respectful and considerate about other people and the co-living scene here in the apartment. We’re hoping to find someone inspiring, and respectful — someone who enjoys WG life as much as we do and wants to be part of a real home, not just a shared space. Ideally, you’re already working so that we all have a similar daily rhythm, and you’re looking to stay long-term. We appreciate good rest and quietness in the evening, so please be mindful that we do not hang around the kitchen area late especially on workdays, like past 22:30h. Whatever you want to do in your room, eat, listen to music, practicing Duolingo, how late you want to stay up, it’s all up to you : ) We don’t really organize parties here out of respect for our neighbors, but around this area we have a lot of options to entertain and dine, so you won’t be bored! Otherwise we all take care of the tidiness in the apartment, in the kitchen, bathroom, taking trash out, all runs automatically. We take turns in cleaning up the flat, and helps to keep it nice for ourselves when we see something that we could do. This is a friendly and international environment, we welcome anyone who is kind, respectful, and brings a cultural balance. It’s important to us that our new flatmate brings good energy and is up for chatting over dinner or just enjoying a peaceful evening together. If that sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!
Thank u for reading, we know its way too long for someone desperately looking for a flat, so we really appreciate it!
