Hello all,
I am subletting my room whilst travelling in Asia and Australia.
As you can see, my room and most of the flat has a minimalistic feel because my flatmate Andrew and I appreciate space and room to breathe! Our flat has very high ceilings as well as the rest of the Altbau charm. My room has everything you need and is super cosy in winter (I love my electric blanket which you can of course also enjoy). Since the flat is in the Hinterhaus, it is very quiet! My room is the brightest (and biggest) in the flat. We have everything you need including storage space in our cellar. I will empty out my wardrobe and a couple of shelves for you as well.
We also have a living room! There is so much space for 2 people:)
850€ includes all costs.
I have lived here for 7.5 years so far and love this part of Berlin: it's clean and you can get almost anywhere in Berlin within 30mins. The transport connections are probably the best in Berlin. Outside the door are Trams M5 & 12. 1 min walk to U6-Naturkundemuseum, M10, M8. 5 min walk to S Nordbahnhof. There are also buses and Hauptbahnhof is 2 tram stops away, or a 10 minute walk.
Rewe literally across the road. Biocompany 2 doors down. Alnatura and dm 50m. And everything else you need basically right on your doorstep: cafes, restaurants etc.
Andrew and I are great friends and have lived together for 4 years. He's the best flatmate I've ever had! We are both very respectful of each others space and appreciate a peaceful, clean, tidy and chill vibe in the flat. The kitchen is usually the place of catching up and we love to have deep conversations on many topics, but especially about creativity, spirituality, consciousness and so on. Andrew is from Cork, Ireland and has lived in Berlin for almost 8 years. He works full-time - 3 days from home and 2 days in the office.
Please let us know what you are doing in Berlin and why you'd love to live here!
Much love,
Josephine
