We are Yuri from Italy and Luisa from Colombia, and we are renting out the third room available in the apartment for 2 months, from 1st of March till the 30th of April.
Our flat is on the 8th floor (we have an elevator, don't worry!) and the room you are gonna rent has a huge window from which you can see the Spree and even Potsdamer platz! A lot of natural lights will make your berliner winter days less dark and short, you'll love it!
The room is just partially furnished, there is all the basic stuff you need, a bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a few more, so you have your chance of customize the room as you prefer!
The rent is €649 per month, plus an €800 deposit (which you’ll get back when you leave, assuming everything is in good condition).
Everything is included—high-speed internet, gas, electricity, etc.
The location is fantastic—we’re right in front of Jannowitzbrücke train station. This means that just by crossing the street, you can catch the U8, S5, S7, and S9 (which has a direct connection to Schönefeld Airport). In the other direction, you can catch the U5 with just a 5-minute walk.
And within a 7-minute walk, you’re at Alexanderplatz, with connections to everywhere!
Everything you need is close by—supermarkets (Netto and Edeka), cinemas, clubs, parks, the Spree, Alexa, Saturn...
You can reach almost any place with just a kurzstrecke (3 stops to Kottbusser Tor, 3 stops to Eberswalder Straße, 2 stops to Warschauer Straße).
We enjoy spending time together both inside and outside the flat, but we also value our private lives and appreciate moments when we can simply enjoy our own space. That said, we’re always happy to cook together and share a glass of wine or coffee.
We really care about keeping the flat tidy and clean, and for this to work we call on everyone's good sense to pick up a broom and get cleaning when it's necessary and letting clean after using the kitchen or the toilet 🙂 We also have a cleaning plan, and a cleaning lady visits every second week.
If you don’t believe in taking good care of a shared space and keeping it clean and tidy, this might not be the right flat for you. :)
I (Yuri) have a passion for documentary photography (spending a lot of time and energy on it), cinema, and art, and I also work as Ui/Ux Designer, while Luisa is a history teacher and she will start a master's degree at the University, she loves music, books and of course history!
We enjoy going out on the weekends, sometimes together. We like having friends over for dinner or drinks but always make sure not to disturb others in the flat or the building when we do.
We look forward to hearing a little bit about yourself, where are you from, how old are you, what do you do.. So if want to see the room and you are interested in living with us, please send us an email and let's get an appointment to talk a bit about us!
We are waiting for you!
Yuri and Luisa
