Bright 20msq furnished room in a 4 person flatshare located on the first floor with single bed, fold-out sofa, desk, drawers, clothes rail. The rest of the apartment includes a kitchen, bathroom, second separate toilet, balcony and an intermediate area with a sofa, table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils, dish washer and washing machine. 655 a month warm. No smoking inside the apartment.
The apartment is located in Mitte, right beside the Berlin Wall Memorial. Really nice and well connected area by tram, bus U-bahn (Bernauer Str.) and S-bahn (Nordbahnhof). You can get to Alexanderplatz, Prenzlauer Berg and Wedding in about 10/15 mins by public transport or bike. Right outside the apartment is a Nah-und Gut Zahl, pharmacy, bakery. 10 min walk to REWE or Edeka and lots of nice bars/cafes around Bernauer str.
I am moving back home so I'm looking for a subtenant to take over my contract from February 1st until the end of June, with a possibility of extension but registeration could be an issue so those who don't need preferred. Currently the flatshare consists of myself, Tasos, a phd student who comes from Greece and works in Max Planck, and Bruno, from Brazil who studies philosophy. Both are focused on their research and spend a lot of time out of the house, but are not opposed to a chat in the kitchen over food or a drink. Everyone leads a fairly quiet, relaxed and independent lifestyle so we look for the same in a new flatmate. Cleanliness is important, everyone does their part to ensure that the common areas of the apartment are tidy and pleasant. Friends are always welcome over, but its not a party flat so please respect that.
