Welcome to my flatshare advert! I’m really excited to share this cozy space with someone who values a calm, clean, and reliable home.

This flat has been a great place to feel settled and enjoy the balance of quiet and Berlin's energy, and I’d love to find someone who shares similar vibes.

The room is a good 14m2, with lots of natural sunlight, which is especially nice while waiting for the summer.

It is currently furnished with a 140×200cm sofa-bed, small desk, reading chair, big wardrobe, and duvet/pillow.

If you're looking for a long-term room but prefer it unfurnished, we'd agree that you can organise the removal of the furniture, and on moving out return in future, return items of equivalent quality and value in consultation with me.

The flat is located in a calm, green part of Neukölln, offering the best of both worlds:

a peaceful neighbourhood near Landwehrkanal (just 2 minutes away, perfect for walks and birdwatching) while still being close to the energy of Weserstrasse, Hermannplatz, and other vibrant areas.

We’re well-connected inside the Ringbahn (nearest stop: S Sonnenallee), with a bus stop just 3 minutes away.

There are also plenty of supermarkets, cafés, yoga studios, and other conveniences nearby.

This isn’t a Zweck-WG - in the past, I’ve enjoyed cooking, having movie nights, or exploring art exhibitions with flatmates, and I’ve even formed friendships with some of them.

A bit about me:
My name is Miriam, I work as an educator (Erzieher:in), and values like feminism, LGBTQIA+ friendliness and being mindful of nature's resources are close to my heart, especially at home. I love staying active with Lindy Hop and yoga, singing in a choir, and recently exploring creative hobbies like pottery and handstitching. Maybe there are even some creative hobbies we could explore together?

My dream would be to find a vegan flatmate: sometimes it's hard to keep up with vegan ambitions in everyday life, so it would be wonderful to find someone plant-based to inspire each other. That said, if you're vegetarian, I'm optimistic we can find a solution to organize the fridge so both of us feel comfortable. Thank you for your understanding that this flatshare is vegan/vegetarian, so I wouldn’t be comfortable with meat or fish at home.

If you’re someone who thrives on a more free-flowing or spontaneous lifestyle, this flatshare might not meet your needs as well, as I value a structured, organized home. I like living in a clean and organized flatshare, and I’ve found it makes such a difference when everyone shares that commitment. I really appreciate people who stick to their word and stay on top of tasks - it creates a peaceful and reliable atmosphere, which I’d love to maintain here.

I think a flatshare feels most balanced when the mental load is shared, so everyone feels supported. It would be great to hear how you see this working in a flatshare too.

And last but not least: While Berlin has plenty of spaces for fun and excitement, I really see home as a calm retreat to recharge. If you’re looking for a cozy and peaceful space to call home, this might be the perfect fit for you! 😊

About Anmeldung: Ailable for long-term tenants - if you're looking to stay less than a year, I'd consider that short-term. Please note that Anmeldung will unfortunately add costs from official sides (like subletting fees and taxes), but we can brainstorm how to keep these as low as possible. To ensure the flatshare is a great fit for both of us, I’d prefer to wait a little while before organizing the registration. In case you don't have one already, you would need to get a liability insurance before moving in (having it is always a good idea:)
