Hello,

we’re Viktoria (28, French) and David (32, German) and we’re a couple living together since two years. We’re writing in English since its more comfortable for Viktoria (but she does speak German too).

Our roommate is moving out end of August and we’re looking for someone to take over her room for the next half year. Our apartment is located on Karl-Marx-Strasse in Neukölln right between Rixdorf and Körnerpark. Living directly on Karl-Marx-Strasse is maybe not super glamourous but it’s actually a very nice area (plus we have pretty good windows – so it’s not too noisy). Rixdorf is full of nice restaurants and cute bars and we have a great pizza place right around the corner (pizza is important!), as well as a super cute parc for the summer. The rent is 650€ per month all included.

The flat is an Altbau (120 m²) and we’re sharing a kitchen and a bathroom as well as a big living room (30 m²) with its balcony. The room we’re renting out is about 22 sqm2. The room is furnished with everything you need (see pics). If you have anything you want to bring that’s fine of course.
A few words about us now :)

Viktoria:
I’m French and live in Berlin since 5 years now. I work in costume design for films/series. I just started a new project, meaning I’m barely home during the week. On my spare time I like using my sewing or knitting machine, going to my dance class or try to feel a little more comfortable on my roller skates. I also love ice creams and whiskey sours, saying hi to the goats of Berlin, playing board games or reading in the sun :)

David:
I am living in Berlin since 12 years and in this flat since a little while now and have seen it change a lot and am proud to say that you’d be moving in in it’s most beautiful state! I am working in the field of development cooperation and am writing my masters thesis right now (mostly from home). Also I play basketball and coach a youth team, so you might have to put up with me shaking my head about teenagers a lot :D. A lot of my thoughts are also dedicated to figuring out what to cook for the next meal of the day.

Since we are a couple you have to be comfortable with that situation but it worked out really well with our last two roommates. We like to spend time with our roommates but of course will also need time just for ourselves.
We think everything else should be found out in person so please reach out for a call or a meeting :)

Looking forwatd to read you!
