The flat is spacious with 80sqm on the top floor in Rixdorf! The available room has a 140x200m bed, desk and chair. It is facing the courtyard and is nice and quiet. The windows were recently replaced and in general the flat is very bright and sunny. You can find a bathroom with a bathtub, a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a big balcony facing south. Sadly it is on the 5th floor with no elevator.
Some of the furniture you can see on the photos is my roommates who will take them with her so if you come see the place it might look a bit different. She is currently in the process of moving out.
The flat is located in Rixdorf in Neukölln only a few minutes from the Ring- and S-Bahnstation Neukölln which is really convenient. There are many nice little cafés, bars, shops and restaurants around. Also the beautiful Körnerpark is not far and also a few flea markets that i like to go to on the weekends. I am also still discovering new parts of the area which is fun even tho i have lived here for so long. Supermarkets are also close, basically anything you could possibly need is in this within walking distance.
Soooo my name is Marie i just turned 30 and i am from Berlin! I moved into this flat with my good friend Nath (who i met in a previous flatshare) - now she is moving out to live with her partner and i am looking for a new roomie for the next year. I have lived in the UK for about 3 years altogether but Berlin has been my home for most of my life. Now i am doing a master in Art History at the HU and an internship at a gallery in Mitte.
Besides all that i love spending time with my friends, cooking, music, going on hikes and my guilty pleasure is the trashiest of trash tv. Since the weather is getting better i want to start the project of planting some flowers on the balcony - i would love to find a roomie who would also enjoy that (but obviously its okay if not i also don't have a green thumb). I enjoy going for dinner with friends, see the newest A24 movies at one of the Yorck Kinos or check out different flea markets and getting an iced matcha latte or a coffee. I also have a boyfriend who sleeps over about once for twice a week with his dog Aska <3
I am looking for someone kind, responsible and considerate - especially when it comes to living with another person. I have lived in flatshares for a long time now and find that in smaller WG's communication is even more key. A clean shared space is very important to me. My home is my sanctuary / the place where i recharge my social battery and i definitely am looking for someone who can resonate with that.
The Landlord is aware that a new person is moving in for a one year sublet and has asked for a couple documents in order to provide the Anmeldung

And lastly the room is 850€ with wifi and electric, however every 6 months i pay the GEZ (TV/Radio license) which is an additional 55€ per Person. The flat has a Staffelmiete which means that every year the rent is increased 15€.
