1. Writing in English, but please feel free to contact me in German if you prefer :)
2. To all the copy-pastes out there: This is a TEMPORARY SUBLET ONLY! I know it's difficult finding a room these days, but please only contact me if the above dates work for you.
I'll be leaving Berlin for vacation - leaving my room in Neukölln free for aprox. two weeks.
The room is spacious, sunny, and the perfect place for your stay in Berlin - or a temporary home until you find something more permanent. The furnishings are now slightly different from the photos, but all of the main things are the same: a 1.4m wide bed, desk and chair, sofa, shelves, and some side tables. I'll move some of my personal things into storage and clear some space on the clothes rack and the shelves so you have room for your things.
There’s a small balcony for your morning coffee or an evening cigarette (please, absolutely no smoking inside though)
Clean sheets, blankets, and towels included
The fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (with bathtub+shower) is shared with my flatmate who will be here during your stay.
The flat is located in a nice side street in the very lively and popular Schillerkiez neighbourhood of Neukölln. The underground (U8, Boddinstrasse) is about 2 minutes away, you’re a short jump to Hasenheide park or Tempelhofer Feld (former airport turned urban park), there's a lovely farmers market on Saturdays at the nearby Herrfurth Platz (or a bit further away, the famous Turkish market along the Canal), and there’s an endless amount of nice shops, cafes, bars, cinemas, plus everything else you need for daily-life (all the Supermarkets from discounter and international to Bio/Organic, 24h kiosks, drug store, pharmacy, post office, etc) all around the corner.
In short, whether you plan to spend most of your time here in the neighbourhood or using it as a base to visit other parts of the city (15min to Alexanderplatz, 2 stations to the Ringbahn for example) it's a great part of the city.
You’ll be staying with my flatmate Theo (originally from Greece, recently moved to Berlin from Freiburg, and works at Frauenhofer) who is generally a very relaxed, polite, friendly, and discreet roommate. He's quite new to the apartment, but his girlfriend Dimitra who you might meet as well was my former flatmate, so Theo was here often as a guest.
This is not a party apartment! Only mature, respectful people please :)
Please only contact me if the dates work for you, thanks.
I expect the rent upfront plus a 100€ security deposit which you'll of course get back provided you leave everything as you found it :)
Looking to rent to one person only, no couples please. Also, unfortunately no doggies allowed (not my rule - its explicitly stated in the rental contract).
Feel free to contact me in German
