Das Zimmer liegt gegenüber der Küche und neben dem Wohnzimmer. Es hat Dielenboden und ein großes Fenster. Das Fenster ist nur Roedernstraße raus, einer ruhigen Nebenstraße. Ursprünglich war das Zimmer mit einer Flügeltür mit dem Wohnzimmer verbunden. Ich habe die Tür aber dauerhaft mit einem Holzrahmen verschlossen. Die gezeigten Möbel könnten bei Bedarf im Zimmer bleiben, ich kann es aber auch vollständig leer räumen.
Wohnzimmer, Küche, Bad sind geteilt. Das Wohnzimmer hat eine große Couch und einen Esstisch. In der Küche können 2 Pers. sitzen.
Nachteile: der Boden quietscht und man hört Geräusche aus dem Hausflur recht deutlich.

The room is across from the kitchen and next to the living room. It has wooden floorboards and a large window. The window faces Roedernstraße, a quiet side street. Originally, the room was connected to the living room by a double door, but I’ve permanently sealed it with a wooden frame.
The furniture shown can stay if needed, but I can also clear the room completely.
The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are shared. The living room has a large couch and a dining table. The kitchen has space for two people to sit.
Downsides: The floor creaks, and you can hear noises from the hallway quite clearly.
Die Wohnung liegt in der Roedernstraße in Oberschöneweide. Die nächste Tram-Station ist Rummelsburgerstr./Edisonstr. (M17, 21, 27, 37, 67). Nördlich sind es 4 Stationen bis S Karlshorst, südlich 3 Stationen bis S Schöneweide.
Rewe, Aldi und DM sind 5 Minuten entfernt. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Spätis, Restaurants und Imbisse. Es entstehen gerade ein paar nette Kneipen/Bars in der Umgebung, aber noch ist die Auswahl klein. Die Wuhlheide ist wenige Minuten entfernt, wenn man ins Grüne möchte und auf dem HTW-Campus (10-15min) kann man gut an der Spree sitzen.

The apartment is on Roedernstraße in Oberschöneweide. The nearest tram stop is Rummelsburgerstr./Edisonstr. (M17, 21, 27, 37, 67). It’s four stops north to S Karlshorst and three stops south to S Schöneweide.
Rewe, Aldi, and DM are just a five-minute walk away. There are a few late-night shops, restaurants, and takeaways in the area. A couple of nice bars are starting to pop up, but the selection is still limited.
If you’re looking for green space, Wuhlheide is just a few minutes away. The HTW campus (10-15 min walk) is also a great spot to sit by the Spree.
Ich bin 28 und arbeite als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter/Doktorand an der HU. Parallel arbeite ich noch in einem Schwimmverein. Zudem leben viele Freunde sowie meine Partnerin in der nächsten Umgebung. In einer regulären Woche bin ich also für gewöhnlich viel auf der Arbeit oder unterwegs.
Ich mache regelmäßig Homeoffice-Tage, aber nie mehr als 1-2 die Woche. Bin happy über Austausch und gemeinsame Mahlzeiten/Abende, wenn der Match stimmt. Komme aber auch mit wenig Interaktion klar. Ich denke aber das ergibt sich je nach Person.
Ansonsten gelten denke ich die gewöhnlichen Erwartungen an Rücksichtnahme und Sauberkeit.

I'm 28 and work as a research associate/PhD student at HU. I also work at a swimming club on the side. A lot of my friends and my partner live nearby, so in a typical week, I’m usually busy with work or out and about.
I regularly work from home, but never more than 1–2 days a week. I'm happy to chat, share meals, or hang out if we’re a good match, but I’m also fine with keeping things low-key. I figure that kind of dynamic just depends on the person.
Other than that, I’d say the usual expectations apply—being considerate and keeping things clean.
An sich suche ich dauerhaft jemanden, aber es muss natürlich für beide Seiten passen. Vielleicht einigen wir uns zu Beginn auf eine Probezeit.
