Hey there!!
I'm renting a 16m2 room in a 60 m2 flat-shared apartment in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. The apartment is completely renovated on a high standard and furnished.
The room has oak parquet and large windows. Walls are plastered and painted white. It gives the rooms a very modern look. Cable TV and Internet (Vodafone Kabeldeutschland) is available. All windows have electric shades.
The kitchen contains a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, exhaust and washing machine. It is equipped with cutlery, plates, cups, pots and pans. Whatever else you need we can get once you move in.
The bathroom has dark grey tiles on the floor and on 3 of the walls. The wall to your back has white tiles. The architectural idea is, you look into a large mirror and the play of dark and light tiles make the room feel a bit wider. Shower is 80x90cm with a large glas door.
The house is located in Storkower Straße with 3 minutes walking distance to Greifswalder Straße Station (circle line) and Tram (M4). Within 15 minutes you are either in Fhain or by tram in Mitte.
There are several grocery stores (Edeka, Netto, Rewe) and small restaurants nearby as well. Prenzlauer Berg, as you might know, is famous for its bar and restaurant scene and it is Berlins most family friendly district.
Your roommate, Monica, is 29 y.o. She is kind and easy going person and enjoys living in Berlin. During winter she often travels to warmer countries and works from there. She is a Software Engineer and happily helps you with all IT problems :-)
She is looking for someone responsible, clean, and easygoing to share this lovely space with. If you're interested or have any questions, please DM.
I'm a 34 year old construction engineer and together with a close friend who is an architect we put an extreme amount of dedication and hard work in renovating the apartment. It took me three months but I believe the results are really nice.
So far I only met really nice people in the house. The Australian dude in the top floor seems to be fun and the young couple opposite the apartment is really nice, too.
