The room is bright and quiet, contains a bed, a desk, several shelfs and a small wardrobe.
You can register it as your residence at Bürgeramt (I can sign Wohnungsgeberformular).
The renting contract is verbal. Since the room is furnished, notice period for each of us is two weeks.

We live at the city rim in Spandau, the area is very green. The next big transport station is Rathaus Spandau where bus, metro, s-bahn and train bring you to the city fast. Surrounding our flat are three different bus stations that bring you to Rathaus Spandau. You can also go there by bike in 10 minutes mainly driving through beautiful green park landscape.
There is very little traffic around us.
The neighbourhood is a great community with social events and community centers. A very nice café is practically next to our house. Supermarket is reachable in 2 minutes walk. 10 minutes walk bring you to drugstore, pharmacy, another super market, post office and small restaurants who sell pizza, very good Dürüm and Kebab and bakery. There are also special stores with Eastern European goods.
Also within 15 minutes walk there is a lake with lots of animals and a designated swimming area, sometimes it is frozen in winter and the surrounding area is great for sleigh riding during snow :)
We are one 35 year old student of Physics, one 9 year old school girl and a cat. My daughter stays with me half of the time, every other week she lives with her dad. My cat is a free runner but usually sleeps at home. She is very sweet and loves everyone who comes to visit us.
We have a dinner room next to the kitchen where visitors can be hosted. Since we both have to get up early we'd like to have no big parties in the flat.
It is possible that my daughter tries to play with you :) she is really sweet and creative and speaks a bit English.
Our toilet and bathtub are in separate rooms.
My boyfriend sleeps over very often so he will be around. He is really kind, too.
Please be kid- and cat-friendly, don't kill harmless insects or spiders.
Cleaning plan:
- each of us cleans the bathrooms every two weeks
- kitchen is a daily responsibility, kitchen chaos should disappear within 24 hours
- sweep the hallway whenever we feel like it
If we get along, the lease can be extended indefinitely.
