Looking for a tenant for my spacious 24m2 Altbau room with Dielenboden and Stuck in a very good area of Steglitz at S Feuerbachstraße.
The room already has all furniture, but you can bring your own. The large window is at the facade side of a beautiful building, facing a quiet side street. It’s also on the North side, so the room is never hot in summer, even if you open the windows. And in winter it’s never too cold because there’s no strict rules for the heater usage :) Also outside your room there will be a corridor, so you won’t hear any noises from the kitchen either.
The flat is 5 minutes on foot from the next S-Bahn station. U-Bahn and several different buses are also in walking distance, so it has a very good connection with the city, Schlachtensee, and the FU if you’re a student.
There are Netto, Rewe, and Edeka, ans well as Kiosks, restaurants and bars around. Schlossstrasse for shopping, pharmacies, and more bars and restaurants is also around the corner.
The neighbourhood is quiet, full of families and dogs. We have a pond next to us.
The life in the WG is rather relaxed. Everyone has their own friends and lives, so this is not a very tight-knit WG where you hang out together all the time. But hence the relationship inside the flat is also chill and nice. Of course, if you need any help or you want to cook for your flatmates, it will always be welcome. It’s not a Zweck-WG, you can bring your friends over, etc.
You’re going to live with a 28 y.o. social work student from South America and a 35 y.o. music producer from Nigeria. But don’t worry, there’s no music blasting 24/7.
There’s a washing machine with a dryer, an oven, a microwave, etc. in the flat.
Please consider that I am looking for a tenant asap. So not December, not end of November. I have enough requests otherwise, so write me if you are looking for a room urgently and willing to pay for the full month.
There isn’t any Ablösesumme or hidden costs. My contract is for 680 euros and so will be yours most probably. The contract is for 6 months to a year depending on the decision of the landlord and your proof of income, and it will be extended as soon as it runs out. You will have the best chance getting the contract if you have a stable job.
