GERMAN: Room

Unfortunately, one of our beloved roommates leaves us, and that's why we have a place in our 5s WG and we are looking for a:n new:n roommate:in. The WG is on the third floor in a nice old building. The room is about 25m2. It goes south into an idyllic green backyard - is accordingly nicely sunny, bright and mostly you hear the birds whistle. In addition, you should agree to contribute financially if we get new purchases for the WG or just the normal purchases for kitchen and bathroom.

ENGLISH: ROOM

Unfortunately, our beloved friend and roomate is leaving our flat and now we are searching for someone who would like to join our little group of currently three. The flat is situated on the third floor in a nice old appartement building (high ceilings. Your room would be 23m2 big. The room has windows to the south, so it is nice and sunny and you can see the green inner yard and listen to the birds whenever you are bored (we usually have no traffic noise). You should be fine with financially contributing to the flat if we need new devices or stuff for the kitchen and bathroom.

The apartment is located in a quiet residential street between the Nollendorfplatz and the U-Bhf. Kurfürstenstraße. On foot you need about 8 minutes at both stations. The transport connection is quite comfortable due to the many public transport and also by bike you are quite fast in Kreuzberg, Mitte, Wedding and also the universities (TU, FU, HU) are a cat jump away etc.

There are various shops around the corner that include everything from Lidl, REWE, EDEKA to Alnatura.

Nearby you can also find the park at the track triangle and the animal garden where you can go for a walk or drink a beer at night, which is especially sweet in summer with the other WG roommates.

The flat is in a quiet neigborhood between Nollendorfplatz and U-Bhf Kurfürstenstraße. Both subway stations are within 8 minutes walking distance. It's quiet easy to get around with public transport since Nollendorfplatz is so well connected. Going by bike is so very nice (Kreuzberg, Schöneberg, Charlottenburg and Mitte are just around the corner and its a short distance to the universities TU, FU and HU).

Close to our neighborhood there are so two lovely parks: Park am Gleisdreieck and the Tiergarten. Both are beautiful to have walks in and enjoy the time with your future roommates



WG life
GERMAN: WG life

We, these are Mugtaba, Ebrahim, Janno and Lin have been living together for several years in this constellation in our beautiful WG. We are all studying in different degrees (architecture, law, theology, fashion) and are between 23 and 27 years old. We are not a purpose WG, place worth a feeling of community and we are happy to spend time together with cooking, playing and together movie evenings and hopefully soon again with the one or other celebration :) In our house many other Studi Worlds live with which we celebrate, breakfast, brunch and foodsharen. It is quite normal to go to the neighbors next door or above, to meet a coffee, to cook together in the evening or to sneak a beer together in the park. Apart from that, we are all politically interested and like to go together to a demo - but that is not necessary.

We would be happy to welcome an open-minded, contact-friendly and clean person with us, who also likes to spend time at home with us and actively contributes to WG life. Of course you can still move back to your room and rest from the rest of the WG. We would also be important that you are socially aware and we would also be happy to receive news from LGBTQIA+ people and/or PoC.
We wish you could talk in German at least.

ENGLISH: Flat level

We are Mugtaba, Ebrahim, Janno and Lin and we have been living in the nest since some time now. We are all currently studying (various topics: architecture, law, theology and fashion design) and are between 23-27 years old. As a shared flat we value spending time together cooking by, playing games or watching a movie together. So it would be beautiful if you like beeing with people and enjoy doing things together as well.
We are enjoying the company of our other neighbours in our neighbour-flats, as we are doing foodsharing together, sometimes have a brunch or party together as well. So it is quite normal to hang out at your neighbours flat with a cup of coffee (or your preferred beverage of choice) and loose track of time together.
Apart from that, we are all interested in a variety of political topics and from time to time can be found on a protest together - but this is not a must. We put a big emphasis on social awareness and hope that people in moving in would describe themselves as socially aware

We would be happy to invite someone open, and communicative to live with us - someone who likes spending time with their flatmates, and someone who likes to invest into the flat-live as well. Maybe it is good to mention: it's okay to donate time alone as well - no-one is forced into anything, and all of us like to have some quiet time once in a while. We would be happy to see messages from LGBTQIA+-People and PoC, as these get prioritised of course.
We expect German on a conversational level, it doesn’t have to be professional or your mother tongue but we should be able to have a conversation in German.

GERMAN: Zimmer

Leider verlässt uns einer unserer geliebten Mitbewohner und deswegen werden in unserer 5er-WG ein Platz frei und wir suchen eine:n neue:n Mitbewohner:in. Die WG liegt im dritten Stock in einem netten Altbau. Das Zimmer ist etwa 25m² groß. Es geht nach Süden in einen idyllischen grünen Hinterhof raus - ist dementsprechend schön sonnig, hell und meistens hört man die Vögel zwitschern. Zudem solltest du damit einverstanden sein, finanziell mit beizutragen, wenn wir neue Anschaffungen für die WG besorgen oder einfach die normalen Einkäufe für Küche und Bad.

Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnstraße zwischen dem Nollendorfplatz und dem U-Bhf. Kurfürstenstraße. Zu Fuß braucht man zu beiden Stationen etwa 8 min. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist durch die vielen öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ziemlich komfortabel und auch mit dem Fahrrad ist man ziemlich schnell in Kreuzberg, Mitte, Wedding und auch die Unis (TU, FU, HU) sind einen Katzensprung entfernt etc.

Als Einkaufmöglichkeiten gibt es verschiedene Geschäfte um die Ecke, die alles von Lidl, REWE, EDEKA bis Alnatura beinhalten.

Ganz in der Nähe befinden sich auch der Park am Gleisdreieck und der Tiergarten in dem man schön Spazierengehen kann oder mal abends ein Bierchen trinken kann, was vor allem im Sommer mit den anderen WG-Mitbewohner:innen ganz sweet ist.

WG-Leben
GERMAN: WG-Leben

Wir, das sind Mugtaba, Ebrahim, Janno und Lin wohnen bereits seit mehreren Jahren zusammen in dieser Konstellation in unserer schönen WG. Wir sind alle in verschiedenen Studiengängen (Architektur, Rechtswissenschaften, Theology, Fashion) am Studieren und sind zwischen 23 und 27 Jahren alt. Wir sind keine Zweck-WG, legen wert auf ein Gefühl von Gemeinschaft und wir freuen uns Zeit miteinander zu verbringen mit Kochen, Spielen und gemeinsamen Filmabenden und hoffentlich bald auch wieder mit der ein oder anderen Feier :) In unserem Haus wohnen viele andere Studi-WGs mit denen wir Feiern, Frühstücken, Brunchen und Foodsharen. Es ist ganz normal, mal zu den Nachbarn nebenan oder obendrüber zu gehen, sich auf einen Kaffee zu treffen, abends gemeinsam zu kochen oder gemeinsam im Park ein Bierchen zu schlürfen. Abgesehen davon sind wir auch allesamt politisch interessiert, und gehen gerne zusammen mal auf eine Demo - jedoch ist das kein muss.

Wir würden uns freuen eine aufgeschlossene, kontaktfreudige und saubere Person bei uns zu begrüßen, die auch gerne Zeit zu Hause mit uns verbringt und sich aktiv in das WG-Leben einbringt. Natürlich kannst du dich trotzdem in dein Zimmer zurückziehen und Ruhe vom Rest der WG haben. Wichtig wäre uns auch, dass du socially aware bist und Wir würden uns auch über Nachrichten von LGBTQIA+-Menschen und/oder PoC freuen.
