Hi there, I'm Asher. In March, I'm moving to Berlin from Krakow to start a residency at The Arts of the Working Class. It's my favorite city so hopefully I'll never leave! I'm Polish, I'm American, I'm an Anarchist, I'm nonbinary, and I like cats. I have a BA in Sociology + Linguistics and an MA in European Studies.

Though I'm obviously a Berlin stereotype, I can promise you a few things as a flatmate: I'm a clean freak, I'm introverted and won't get in your business, and I pay rent on-time!

My friends say I'm blunt but very empathetic, so I started volunteering on a crisis hotline. I love cards games and arguing about politics and telling long jokes, though mostly this annoys my friends. For my health I do yoga and swim and boulder. I'm a nerd for cinema, visual art, literature, and Pokémon.

My girlfriend lives in Leipzig and my best friend lives in Prague, but they hate Berlin so I'll be out of town for a lot of weekends.
