The room is the largest and brightest bedroom in the apartment. It is 20 m2 in size and has a very large window.
Our shared flat is located in the Johannisthal district of Treptow-Köpenick. The location is perfect for people who want to live in Berlin but can do without the hustle and bustle of the city or who are studying at the HTW or HU Berlin (Campus Adlershof) :) The HTW and HU Berlin (Campus Adlershof) are only 15 minutes away by bike and the nearest S-Bahn station is also only 10 minutes away. So if you also want to enjoy the nightlife etc., it's not too far away. Also it is super relaxed and quiet here and there are numerous green spaces around us, so you can go jogging or for a walk (Landschaftspark Johannisthal/ Adlershof). You can also take a bike to Müggelsee for a day trip, or to Tempelhofer Feld in about 35 minutes.
The flatmates are:
- Lina (born in 01) is from Bielefeld and is now doing a Master's in Fashion Design at the HTW. When she's not working on her design, she plays volleyball or works as a waitress.
- Maria (born in '96): Comes here to Berlin from Spain and is venturing into a PhD at Humboldt Uni in chemistry.
- Michele (born in '98): Is a flight attendant and studies part-time, he likes to play computer games or play field hockey, born in Italy.
- And me, Felipe, who will be returning to Colombia in August.
Our everyday life in the shared flat can be described as respectful, relaxed and orderly. As we are all relatively busy during the week and sometimes work from home, we are happy if there are no excessive parties, someone playing the drums or attending an online yodeling course during the week. At the weekend, those who want to meet up occasionally for the odd beer or alternative cold drink in the kitchen or on the balcony. But it's all informal and completely relaxed. But we don't party every weekend: some of us can't manage that mentally or physically. We live in an apartment building with a beautiful courtyard including a pool and a kind of chill-out area where our neighbors (mainly young families) often sit together. A super relaxed atmosphere here too.
We value tidiness and general "thinking along": We have a cleaning app that reminds us of the basic tasks, but the basic idea is simple but ingenious: everyone leaves everything as clean as they found it and when the garbage is full, I just take it down. Please add the word "Zebrastreifen" at the top so that we know you've read the ad :)
