My name is Lucas and I live with a nice roommate named Eva. I am looking to sublet my room while I am gone, for the winter semester, starting on the 25th of November.
Eva and I can speak English and German. Wir können Deutsch sowie Englisch, aber ich schreibe alles hier auf Englisch, weil es für mich und die meisten Leute auf WG-Gesucht einfacher ist.
Your room is 25 square meters, is fully furnished, and has a balcony. The furnishings will include a desk, chair, and monitor, perfect for home-officing or studying! I will make a nearly all of the space for clothes available, but would plan to leave a few of my things out of the way on the shelves or under the bed. I would appreciate it if you could also take care of the plants in the room and on the balcony, but understand if they don't all survive.
The room and much of the flat is south facing without any buildings across the street, so it is super sunny! The U1/U3 U-bahn and M29 Bus are a 5 minute walk away. Markthalle Neun and Lidl are around the corner with several Edeka, Rewe, BioCompany, EuroGida, and other grocery options within 5-10 minutes. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and Imbiss in the area too.
The flat is about 120 square meters, with the bedrooms, a dining/living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a small closet. We share upkeep of the flat such as cleaning and filling/emptying the dishwasher, and share most general kitchen supplies like oils and vinegars, onions, garlic, etc. Eva is open and welcoming to flatmates, but is usually busy during much of the "typical" work hours, often working from home.
The photos are from a couple months ago and some minor things have changed or been rearranged: for example, my room has a real light fixture now! The room costs 800€ for the month including everything, such as kaltmiete, nebenkosten, heating, electricity, internet, and radio+tv taxes. I ask for a 700€ caution as well. If you are have any questions, please let me know!
