The room is located at the end of the flat and has a balcony overlooking the canal. It's quite spacious and receives a lot of natural sunlight throughout the whole day. The room along with the flat is furnished. The hauptmieter doesn't mind if you chose to rearrange it a bit.

We are located right on Lohmühlenbrücke with the 194 bus right in front of the apartment that will connect you to the SBahn (Treptower Park/Ostkreuz) or Ubahn (Hermannplatz). There's an Edeka/Netto an 8 minute walk from the flat. Spring is quite nice with the canal directly below us and easy access to Treptower Park and Hasenheide.

Marlene and I are both chill flatmates to live with. We're both polite and friendly, but also keep to ourselves. I'm a bit of a homebody - especially during the winter months and usually just like to crochet or play the keyboard (with headphones of course) in my free time.

Marlene is German and from Kassel with a background in architecture. I'm from the U.S. with a background in environmental planning.

We are looking for someone who is kind, respectful and chill. There is a weekly cleaning schedule split where one person cleans the kitchen, another the bathroom and last person does the common area floors.

Ideally you are employed, interning/student, or someone with responsibilities. Our building consists of mainly families and we have a kita on the ground floor so it's important that you're mindful of that.

Of course what you do in your free time is your business, but please respect that this is a drug-free flat.

As this is not a permanent arrangement and the hauptmieter is returning to Berlin in June, I can't offer anmeldung so please be mindful of that before messaging as well.

Women/femme/NBs are highly preferred. There is no room for any -isms or -phobias in this flat so please also be mindful of that!
