I've lived in this house since 2017 when it was newly built - in several different constellations - and I absolutely love living here and sharing this space with other kind humans. This year, sadly, all three of my housemates are gonna move out for different reasons, so I've decided to see this as a chance to create a nice new constellation with people who would like to make this place their home!
The house has four separate bedrooms (14-17 sqm, pictures coming soon!). They’re not huge, but we have a spacious common area that makes up for it. I’m also considering setting up a flexible workspace in the connecting room to the garden for everyone to use. The house has 160 sqm on 4 floors with:
- 3 bathrooms
- a balcony
- a small garden
- a garage roof top terrasse accessible from the living room (that's where we hang out most in the summer)
- floor heating everywhere (amazing in winter)
- an open kitchen with an induction stove
- a garage to store bikes and tools
- storage room with laundry machine
I really think this house has a lot of potential—bring in your own ideas, and let’s make it our home!
Weißensee is great! We were all a bit skeptical before moving here, but it’s really not that far out. In fact, we’re just a couple of blocks from Prenzlauer Berg—but with way less noise, fewer cars, and even a lake to swim in!
Getting around is super easy:
- Right outside the door: Trams M13 (Wedding/Fhain) and 12 (Pberg/Mitte)
- 10 min walk (or two tram stops) to Prenzlauer Allee/Ostseestraße (M2) and Antonplatz (M4), take you directly to Alexanderplatz
- By bike, you’re just 5-10 minutes from S Prenzlauer Allee or S Greifswalder Straße, where you can hop on the Ringbahn and get anywhere quickly (there's also a bus going to S Greifswalder now)
There are more and more small, cozy cafés and restaurants popping up, often run by friendly owners you actually get to know. Plus, our neighbors are really nice!
I enjoy a good mix of social and personal space—spending time together in the living room, watching series on our projector, going to performances, or the occasional club visit (mostly during the day for me these days). At the same time, I think it’s important to feel comfortable withdrawing when needed. I’d love for our shared living to feel organic—a home with interesting people I enjoy spending time with, built on good communication and mutual care.
Who’s here & when are rooms available?
Depending on when you move in, you might still live with some of my current housemates:
- Josh is moving out first, around mid-March (17sqm, ground floor).
- Franzi will likely leave around the same time (14sqm, 2nd floor).
- Ben might stay a bit longer, so quick introduction: He’s 31, originally from Wales, has lived in Berlin since 2019, works in the travel industry, enjoys playing piano, and staying active.
- Me (Ina): I’m 36, working part-time as a postdoc in a medical research center and studying psychology on the side. I’m really into dance (contemporary, contact improv) and currently on a mission to do my first pull-up this year! 💪
