Die Wohnung befindet sich im 1. Stock, sodass du keine langen Treppen steigen musst und der Einzug einfach ist.

Unsere Wohnung liegt nur 2 Minuten vom S- und U-Bahnhof Pankow entfernt. In 4 Minuten erreichst du zu Fuß einen Edeka und DM, in 3 Minuten einen Lidl und in 30 Sekunden den lokalen Späti. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite gibt es ein gemütliches Café.

Die Anbindung ist ausgezeichnet mit den Linien U2, S2, S8 sowie den Straßenbahnen M1 und M27. Du gelangst schnell in den Osten Berlins und bist nur 2 Stationen von der Ringbahn entfernt, sodass du auch bequem in den Ring Richtung Osten einfahren kannst.

Our apartment is just 2 minutes from the S- and U-Bahn station Pankow. In 4 minutes, you can walk to an Edeka and DM, in 3 minutes to a Lidl, and in 30 seconds to the local Späti. There's a cozy café across the street.

The connections are excellent with the U2, S2, S8, and the M1 and M27 trams. You can quickly get to the eastern part of Berlin and are only 2 stops away from the Ringbahn, allowing you to easily enter the ring towards the east.

Ich freue mich, dich kennenzulernen. Mein Name ist Paul, und ich möchte dir ein wenig über mich und unsere WG erzählen.

Im Juni 2022 bin ich aus Israel zurückgekehrt, wo ich neun Monate lang ein FSJ gemacht habe. Derzeit arbeite ich als Barkeeper. Im Oktober habe ich mein Studium in Publizistik und Kommunikation begonnen, wo ich meine wunderbaren Mitbewohner Franka und Willi kennengelernt habe. Ich bin auch der Hauptmieter und kümmere mich um viele organisatorische Dinge in der WG.

Ein paar Worte zu mir: Meine Interessen liegen bei Israel und dem Judentum, Politik, dem Offline-Leben, Hertha BSC und dem Partyleben in Berlin. Ab dem 25. Juli gehe ich für acht Wochen in eine Suchtreha wegen Internetsucht, da ich früher viel gezockt habe und nun ein Leben mit möglichst wenig Internet anstrebe. Während dieser Zeit bin ich in einer Klinik, die etwa zwei Stunden mit dem Zug von Berlin entfernt ist. Es kann sein, dass ich ab und zu kurz in Berlin bin, um etwas aus meinem Zimmer zu holen, aber das würde ich natürlich vorher mit dir absprechen.

Jetzt möchte ich dir meine Mitbewohner vorstellen:

Franka ist im Oktober eingezogen und sehr rücksichtsvoll und aufmerksam. Sie kocht gerne und ist immer für ein Gespräch zu haben. In ihrer Freizeit besucht sie gerne Clubs und Festivals, ruht sich aber auch gerne zu Hause aus oder beschäftigt sich mit ihrem Studium. Franka ist immer hilfsbereit und aktiv.

Willi hat, wie ich, ein FSJ in Israel gemacht und dort seinen Freund kennengelernt, der gelegentlich zu Besuch ist. Willi teilt mein Interesse an Israel und jüdischem Leben. In seiner Freizeit geht er gerne ins Fitnessstudio und kocht ebenfalls gerne. Er ist genauso hilfsbereit und gesprächig wie Franka.

Was wir von dir erwarten:

- Finanzielle Sicherheit und Unabhängigkeit
- Politische Einstellung eher links
- Keine antisemitischen oder israelfeindlichen Ansichten (wir mögen Netanjahu auch nicht)
- Keine Raves in der WG, außerhalb gerne
- Rücksicht auf den Schlaf der Mitbewohner
- Keine Haustiere (ein Hund eventuell nach Absprache)
- Eigene Verantwortung für Sauberkeit und Ordnung
- Keine Zweck-WG-Person
- Keine Nazis oder Polizisten
- Nichtraucher/in wäre optimal, sonst bitte nur auf dem Balkon. Andere Drogen bitte außerhalb der Wohnung.

Ein Einblick in unsere WG:

Wir putzen einmal die Woche im Wechsel und kümmern uns um die Gemeinschaftsräume. Ein gleicher Anspruch an Sauberkeit und eine faire Arbeitsverteilung sind uns wichtig. Wir erwarten, dass du mitdenkst, den Müll rausbringst, wenn er voll ist, und deinen Dreck selbst wegräumst. Wir möchten dir nicht beibringen müssen, wie man putzt oder rücksichtsvoll zusammenlebt. In der Vergangenheit habe ich oft hinter anderen hergeputzt und ihre Lebensmittel weggeschmissen – das möchten wir in Zukunft vermeiden.

Wir verbringen manchmal Zeit zusammen in der Küche und unterhalten uns, sind aber auch oft jeder für sich.

I’m happy to meet you. My name is Paul, and I’d like to tell you a bit about myself and our shared apartment.

In June 2022, I returned from Israel, where I spent nine months doing a voluntary social year (FSJ). Currently, I work as a bartender. In October, I started my studies in Journalism and Communication, where I met my wonderful roommates Franka and Willi. I’m also the main tenant and handle many organizational aspects of the apartment.

A few words about me: I’m interested in Israel and Judaism, politics, offline life, Hertha BSC, and the party scene in Berlin. Starting on July 25th, I will be going to a rehab program for internet addiction, as I used to play a lot of video games and now aim to live with as little internet as possible. The rehab lasts for eight weeks and is about two hours by train from Berlin. I might occasionally be in Berlin to pick up something from my room, but I will coordinate this with you in advance.

Now, let me introduce my roommates:

Franka moved in October and is very considerate and attentive. She loves to cook and is always up for a conversation. In her free time, she enjoys going to clubs and festivals, but also likes to relax at home or work on her studies. Franka is always helpful and active.

Willi, like me, did an FSJ in Israel and met his boyfriend there, who visits occasionally. Willi shares my interest in Israel and Jewish life. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym and cooking. He is just as helpful and sociable as Franka.

What we expect from you:

- Financial security and independence
- A left-leaning political stance
- No antisemitic or anti-Israel views (we don’t like Netanyahu either)
- No raves in the apartment, outside is fine
- Consideration for the roommates' sleep
- No pets (a dog might be possible after discussion)
- Responsibility for cleanliness and your own mess
- No purpose-only roommates
- No Nazis or police officers
- Non-smoker preferred; if you smoke, please do so on the balcony. Other drugs should be kept outside the apartment.

A glimpse into our shared apartment:

We clean once a week on a rotating schedule and take care of the common areas. We value a shared sense of cleanliness and fair distribution of chores. We expect you to be proactive, take out the trash when it’s full, and clean up your own mess. We don’t want to teach you how to clean or live considerately. In the past, I’ve had to clean up after others and throw away their food – we want to avoid that in the future.

We sometimes hang out in the kitchen and chat, but we also value our own space.
