This room comes with a queensize sofa bed, a desk and a chair, some small shelves and an open wardrobe. The furniture is white and with natural wood, which fits well into the spacious turn of the century apartment with its high ceilings and the old oak wood floor. We share the sizeable living room, bathroom (with a bathtub) and kitchen. The living room, which is right next door to this room, features two sofas that can be turned into queen-sized beds if we need them when we have guests sleeping over. DSL and Wifi works nicely.

Das Zimmer ist ausgestattet mit einem Schlafsofa, was 1,60 breit ist, mit einem kleinen Arbeitstisch und einem Stuhl, ein paar Regalen und einer Standgarderobe. Die Möbel sind weiß und Naturholz, was gut passt zu unserer geräumigen Altbau-Wohnung mit ihren hohen Decken, den Dielen und dem gepflegten Parkett im Wohnzimmer. Wir teilen uns das große Wohnzimmer, das Bad (mit Badewanne) und die Küche. Im Wohnzimmer haben wir zwei Sofas, die man ausgeklappt auch als 1,60-Betten benutzen kann, um Übernachtungsgäste unterzubringen. DSL und WLAN sind auch vorhanden.

Zentrale Lage: 3 Minuten zur M10, 6 Minuten zur S-Bahn Warschauer Straße; dennoch ist die Gubener Straße erstaunlich ruhig.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: beim Späti gegenüber, 3 Minuten zum 24-Stunden-Rewe, alles Mögliche gibt es auch in der Mall bei der Warschauer Straße S-Bahn.
Ausgehmöglichkeiten sind jede Menge vorhanden, Simon-Dach-Kiez mit allerlei Restaurants, Boxhagener Platz, RAW-Gelände, Berghain etcetera ist alles sehr nah.
Drinnen ruhig, draußen das pralle Leben.

The location is pretty central: 3 minutes to the tram M10, 6 minutes to S-Bahn Warschauer Straße; still Gubener Straße itself is surprisingly calm.
Shopping possibilities: There is a kiosk just across the street, it is 3 minutes to a supermarket that is open 24 hours, and all kinds of things are available in the mall near Warschauer Straße S-Bahn.
There are plenty of options for going out right there, the Simon Dach area with all kinds of restaurants, Boxhagener Platz, RAW-area with some clubs, Berghain etcetera, all this is very close.
Inside it is calm, outside the full life.

Die WG ist ausgelegt für 3 Leute, eine von den Mitbewohnerinnen und ich gehen beide mehrere Monate ins Ausland, deswegen bleibt nur eine von uns aktuell noch in der WG. Wir schauen gerne zusammen Filme, kochen, machen Sport oder kreative Sachen.  
Das Haus ist als Altbau relativ hellhörig und daher wegen der anderen Mietsparteien (auch Familien mit kleinen Kindern) nur begrenzt party-tauglich, aber die Wohnung ist großzügig und bietet sich daher schon auch an für Geselligkeit, wenn es einigermaßen zivil im Rahmen bleibt.  
Es gibt eine Küche mit Kühlschrank und Spülmaschine. Außerdem haben wir einen Toaster, einen Wasserkocher und sogar eine Küchenmaschine mit Mixer. Das Bad verfügt über eine Badewanne, in der man auch gut duschen kann, und über eine Waschmaschine. Im großen Wohnzimmer, was die Bewohner sich teilen, gibt es 2 Schlafsofas, falls man mal mehr Besuch hat und einen Fernsehbildschirm (mit Chromecast).  Für Fahrräder hat das Haus einen Fahrradraum im Seitenflügel.  

The WG is designed for 3 people, one of the roommates and I are both going abroad for several months, so only one of us is currently staying in the apartment. We like to watch films together, cook, do sports or do creative things.  Since the house is built in the typical way of the period with wooden ceilings between the apartments, the neighbours can definitely hear when there is a party going on.
And since we have some families with small children in the house, we think it is fair to tell you ahead of time that this is not the shared flat for the super major parties, but with its spaciousness the apartment does lend itself well for get-togethers, as long as there is an element of moderation and empathy included.  
The kitchen is well equipped, with a fridge, a dish-washer, a toaster, an electic kettle, and even a food processor with a blender. In the bathroom we share a washing-machine. The big living-room features two sofas that can each be turned into a queen size bed if you want to have friends or family sleep over and there's a TV screen that you can connect with your phone/laptop. For bikes we have a separate room on the ground floor that can be accessed through the backyard.

PS: Wir haben eine soziale Katze, die zwar vor allem im Zimmer meiner einen Mitbewohnerin ist, aber in allen Zimmern (also auch meinem) häufig anzutreffen ist. Falls du allergisch bist, würde es in dieser WG vermutlich anstrengend für dich sein.
