The room has approx. 16m² of living space and is furnished. The dormitory provides you with a built-in wardrobe, a table and chair, two shelves and a bed (see photos). The room also has its own sink. The rent is just over €300 including heating, water, electricity, internet, etc. In addition, only €2.00 is charged per use of the washing machines and dryers. The dormitory has a garage and a basement for bikes.
The Weidedamm dormitory in the heart of Findorff is the coolest student residence in Bremen ;). It only takes 15 minutes by bike and 10 minutes by bus to get to the university. Also, you can easily get to the city in no time with public transport. There are various shops nearby (Rewe, Aldi, Lidl, Rossmann), all of which can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. With the Bürgerpark right outside the door, you have the perfect place to get some fresh air.
We are a multicultural group consisting of people from Germany, India, Georgia, South Korea, and Cameroon. From time to time we like to do things together like cooking, watching movies, drinking cocktails, playing board games, or dancing nights. Of course you can always retreat to your room if you need some silence and privacy. The apartment has a spacious living room with a TV, a large kitchen, two bathrooms each with a shower and toilet, a guest toilet and a balcony.
Before you apply, you must
- be enrolled at the University of Bremen, the Hochschule Bremen, the Hochschule Bremerhaven or the HfK
- have a VISA if you need one
- be able to speak and understand English
- want to start the contract on 1st of April 2025
