It's a renovated building with two floors and nine rooms. Each floor has a separate kitchen and two bathrooms. This room is on the ground floor. It’s quite spacious and perfectly suitable for one person. It includes a wardrobe, single bed, cupboard, shoe rack, mirror, table, chair, and a bedside stool. There is also a washing machine and dryer, both located in the main bathroom. 450€ Rent is for one month not the whole duration so if you stay for the whole duration it will be around 675€. City Registration is not possible
The nearest bus stops are Kosbacher Weg and Schulzentrum West, both about a 6 to 8-minute walk away. Buses 287 and 293 from Kosbacher Weg take around 30 minutes to reach Tech Fak and about 8 to 10 minutes to Erlangen Bahnhof. Bus 280 from Schulzentrum West reaches Tech Fak in approximately 20 minutes. The nearest grocery store is Edeka, a 10-minute walk from the house. Additionally, the Alterlanger See and park are nearby, offering a beautiful setting for walks or cycling.
There are five of us living on the ground floor: Asad (me), Cristina, Aissatou, Aminata, and Ali Reza. We are all students. I am an Indian student in my 4th semester pursuing an MSc in Electromobility, with interests in coding, design, and data science. Cristina, originally from Angola, is an exchange student from France who recently completed her master’s in Material Science and is currently job hunting. Aminata, also an exchange student from France, is studying for her master’s in Computer Science. She’s fairly new to Germany but is a fun and outgoing person. Aissatou is from Mali and, while she hasn’t started her studies yet, she is enrolled in a German course. She’s an excellent cook, and you could definitely pick up a few tips from her. Ali is pursuing an MSc in AI and is quite the coding enthusiast. He’s usually a quiet and calm person but is great company and fun to talk to.
We all have a lot of fun together. We often have game nights, playing games like Uno and Werewolf, and we enjoy chatting and joking around in the kitchen. Since we don’t have a cleaning service, we follow a cleaning schedule and take care of the household ourselves. We keep the space tidy, and any mess is addressed promptly, so please make sure to maintain cleanliness.
