The room has its own toilet, only the kitchen is shared with other 3 persons. We have simple rules for the kitchen, after cooking; everything must be cleaned. So the kitchen is always tidy and clean, and it also gets cleaned 2 times per week from the cleaning staff of the Studentenwohnheim. Outside the room there are Sofas and big table if you wanna chill outside.
The room has also its own fridge, so the big positive is that you don’t share the fridge and toilet with anyone which is a blessing for a WG. You have also your own matress, chair you need to only bring your pillow and blanket. You will also have very good internet in your room.
You have a nice view from the window of the garden downstair, where you can also spend time there and you also invite your friends over if you want to roast something and have a drink or even play table tennis downstairs.
I will be away for 2 months, but I will come back on 29th of March and you can leave and give me the keys on the early morning of 30th of March and I can directly give you the 200€ deposit back.
You need 10mins walking to Kray Süd trainstation which can take you to Essen in few minutes and also to Bochum in 10 minutes.
There is also another alternative to go the city centre of Essen with the 146 bus which is also 10 minutes away by walking.
Lidl is 8 minutes away by walking too.
The flat is very still and calm, you barely hear anything. There would be nothing going on , on the outside, which is really good if you are a home guy when it comes to learning.
The flatmates are very kind and most importantly, they are tidy. You can barely see them due to their commitment to studies and work, but they are friendly, and you can hang out with them maybe in the evening.
