Das unmöblierte Zimmer hat einen fast quadratischen Schnitt, einen schönen Dielenboden oder hohe Wände, durch die der Raum größer wirkt. Eine Wand ist momentan dunkel gestrichen, aber das kann man natürlich überstreichen.
Das große Fenster liegt auf der Ostseite des Hauses und hat ein Verdunklungsrollo eingebaut.
Die WG hat ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer, eine kleine Küche mit viel Stauraum und einen Abstellraum. Eine Besonderheit ist das Frankfurter Bad (die Dusche befindet sich in der Küche). Diese befindet sich allerdings in einer Nische, ist optisch daher gut gelöst und zu zweit lässt sich gut koordinieren, wer wann in die Küche muss. Ansonsten ist bereits alles vorhanden, was man im Alltag benötigt (Staubsauger, Waschmaschine, Küchenutensilien etc.).

The unfurnished room is almost square-shaped and appears much bigger due to the high ceiling. One wall is currently painted in a dark grey, but you could paint the room if you like. The big window is on the east side of the house and has a roller blind built in. The apartment has a cozy living room, a small kitchen with lots of storage, and a storage room. A special feature is the Frankfurter Bad, which means that the shower is in the kitchen. Here it’s located in a niche, which is a good solution optically and with two people living here, it’s easy to coordinate shower times.
Apart from the furniture in the room, there is already everything you might need in the apartment (vacuum, washing machine, kitchen utensils etc.).

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral im Gutleutviertel, in fußläufiger Nähe zu einem Rewe, dem Skyline Plaza und dem Mainufer. Die nächsten Haltestellen Hauptbahnhof und Baseler Platz sind in unter 10 Minuten erreichbar, daher hat man hier eine gute Anbindung an jeglichen Nah- und Fernverkehr.
Zur Holzhausenstraße (Uni) benötigt man werktags nur ca. 20 Minuten, zu der Hauptwache (Innenstadt) und nach Bockenheim nur ca. 15 Minuten.

The apartment is located in central Frankfurt and I’m walking distance to a grocery store, the shopping mall Skyline Plaza, and the river Main. The stations Hauptbahnhof (main station) and Baseler Platz are less than 10 minutes away, with connection to short and long distance travel of any kind (apart from plane and ship, I guess). To the Campus Westend it takes about 20 minutes on working days, to Hauptwache (city centre) and Bockenheim you’d only need about 15 minutes.

Ich bin Sina (sie/ihr), 25 Jahre alt und studiere seit drei Jahren Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaften hier in Frankfurt. Nebenher habe ich eine Werkstudi-Stelle und bin daher viel unterwegs. Falls ich doch mal einen Abend Zeit habe, findet man mich entweder im Kino, im Schwimmbad oder unterwegs mit Freunden.

Ich suche eine ruhige Person mit WG-Erfahrung, mit der man ab und zu ein Kartenspiel spielen, einen Film schauen oder einen Spaziergang machen kann. Für das Zusammenleben sollten Sachen wie Putzplan, Kommunikation und Respekt für Privatsphäre selbstverständlich sein.

My name is Sina (she/her), I’m 25 and study Theatre, Film and Media here in Frankfurt. Due to Uni and work, I’m busy a lot and need my place to rest and relax. When I do have an evening off, you may find me at the cinema, at the swimming pool or out with friends. I’m looking for a calm person who has experience with shared living spaces to chat, take a walk or watch a movie with. Things like following a cleaning schedule, open communication and respect for each others privacy should be a given.

Die Wohnungssuche in Frankfurt ist hart, deshalb versuche ich möglichst alle Nachrichten anzuschauen. Bitte habt Verständnis, wenn ich nur denen antworte, die ich auch einladen möchte. Erfahrungsgemäß bekommt man innerhalb eines Tages knapp 100 Anfragen, die ich nicht alle beantworten kann.

Bitte beachtet auch, dass es sich um eine Nichtraucher-WG handelt. Auch Rauchen im Zimmer, auch bei offenem Fenster, wird nicht toleriert.

I know that apartment hunting in Frankfurt is hard, so I’ll try and read every message I get. Though please understand that I won’t have time to answer each application, since there are over 100 a day coming in.

Please also note that this is a non-smoker WG. Smoking in your room, be it in an open window, will not be tolerated.
