Das Zimmer zeichnet sich durch seine längliche Form aus, besitzt eine antike Holztür und befindet sich in Richtung des Hinterhauses, das an einer verkehrsberuhigten Einbahnstraße liegt. Tagsüber wird der Raum stets von natürlichem Licht durchflutet, da die Sonne vom Mittag bis zum Abend direkt ins Zimmer scheint. Große Fenster, ein Parkettboden und eine Raumhöhe von etwa 2,70 Metern verleihen dem Raum eine großzügige Atmosphäre. Die Ausstattung macht das Zimmer äußerst gemütlich und die Umgebung ist angenehm ruhig.
The room is elongated, features an antique wooden door, and is situated towards the back of the building, facing a traffic-calmed one-way street. During the day, it is filled with natural light, with the sun shining directly into the room from noon until evening. It boasts large windows, parquet flooring, and a ceiling height of approximately 2.70 meters, creating a spacious and comfortable ambiance. The setting is very cozy and quiet.
Wir befinden uns in der Nähe der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB), praktisch in einer Seitenstraße der Hanauer Landstraße. Es ist bemerkenswert ruhig für eine so zentral gelegene Wohnung, die sich im 4. Stock befindet. Es erfordert gewissermaßen sportliche Aktivität und die Bereitschaft, nach 8 Stunden Arbeit oder Uni die Treppen zu nehmen. Als Ausgleich bietet dies jedoch bessere Luft und weniger Lärm.
Das Ostend war einst eine Hafenanlage mit Güterschiffen und einem Schienennetz, während die EZB ursprünglich eine Großmarkthalle war, in der verschiedene Waren gehandelt wurden. In den letzten 15 Jahren hat sich hier ein neuer Stadtteil Frankfurts entwickelt, der eine urbane Landschaft mit einer Mischung aus Altbau-Arbeiterwohnungen und Platten-Neubauten prägt.
We are located near the European Central Bank (ECB), essentially in a side street off Hanauer Landstraße. It's surprisingly quiet for such a centrally located apartment on the 4th floor. One should be somewhat athletic and willing to climb stairs after 8 hours of work or university. However, in return, you have better air quality and less noise.
The Ostend was once a harbor area with cargo ships and a railway network, while the ECB used to be a wholesale market hall where various goods were traded. In the last 15 years, a new district of Frankfurt has emerged here, characterized by an urban landscape ranging from old worker apartments to modern panel construction.
Ich studiere an der Städelschule und bin in der Regel sehr beschäftigt. Oft bin ich im Ausland und selten zu Hause, daher besteht in dieser WG-Konstellation keine familiäre Bindungsstruktur. Dennoch würde ich sie nicht als Zweck-WG bezeichnen. Ich stehe immer für Gespräche oder Spaziergänge zur Verfügung, trinke selten und rauche nicht. Gelegentlich treibe ich Sport und bin dafür größtenteils offen.
In der WG leben Alina und Patrick, und wir führen ein sehr harmonisches und entspanntes WG-Leben. Jeder hat seine Zeit und seinen Raum. In der Regel sehen wir uns morgens oder abends, manchmal auch zwei Tage lang nicht, da jeder von uns sehr beschäftigt ist. In der Wohnung wird nicht geraucht. Es handelt sich nicht um eine Party-WG oder ein Party-Haus. Hier leben Studierende und junge Familien. Es ist eine äußerst angenehme Hausgemeinschaft, die hilfsbereit ist.
I am studying at the Städelschule and am usually quite busy. I'm often abroad and not at home much, so there's no familial bond structure in this shared living arrangement. Nevertheless, I wouldn't label it as a purely functional shared apartment. I'm always up for a conversation or a walk, I rarely drink, and I don't smoke. I occasionally engage in sports and am generally open to it.
Alina and Patrick share the apartment with me, and we have a very harmonious and relaxed shared living dynamic. Each of us has our own time and space; we usually see each other in the mornings or evenings, and sometimes we might not cross paths for two days due to everyone's busy schedules. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. It's not a party shared apartment or house; you'll find students and young families here. It's a very pleasant community where everyone is supportive.
Wir haben zwei große Keller. Einen davon nutzen wir zum Wäschewaschen und Reparieren von Fahrrädern; dieser befindet sich im Garten. Der andere befindet sich im Keller des Hauses und kann vielseitig genutzt werden. Ich vermiete mein Zimmer für 1 Monat (August) da ich bis Ende 2024 im Ausland arbeite. Ich bin auch für andere Zeiträume innerhalb dieses Zeitraums offen. Bei Fragen könnt ihr euch gerne melden.

We have two large basements. One of them, located in the garden, is used for laundry and bicycle repairs. The other is in the basement of the house and can be used for various purposes. I am renting out my room for 1 month (August) as I will be working abroad until the end of 2024. I am also open to other durations within this period.
