Heyyyo! I am going to travel outside of Germany for 2 months, therefore I would like to sublet my room to someone who wants to experience the good summer vibe in Freiburg and make some good memories with 22 amazing roommates!
We are the EG (ground floor) community of the Falkenbergerstrasse student residence. You will have your safe space, a 12 sqm room with completely renovated with fully furnished furniture. There are two kitchens, four showers, four toilets, and a large living room on our floor. In addition to the gym in the basement, the dorm also has a music room, a small gym, a bike storage room, a bar, and a washing machine for 2 euros.
A total of 22 people live here in the WG. That sounds like a lot at first, and it is, but it's actually pretty cool. We're a pretty mixed bunch, but we're connected by our openness and the joy of doing things together. Beyond the stress of university, we want to be open to each other and create a family atmosphere.
At the weekend we also like to party together and appreciate a sure hand at beer pong. But most of the time we just enjoy chatting over breakfast in the morning or ending the day with a round of Wizard or a good film in the evening.
You can be very flexible with communal activities: whether it's swimming in the Seepark, cooking together, music, hiking or other activities, there's usually always someone among us who also enjoys it.
Our dormitory is located on Elsässerstrasse and is just 300m from the Seepark. The city center is a 15-minute bike ride away, but the connection to line 4 is also close to the dormitory. Shops, a gym, and Mooswald are within walking distance.
