Hallo zukünftige Mitbewohnerin,
du bist oder wirst Studentin und möchtest gerne in einem hübschen Altbauzimmer in der Gießener Innenstadt wohnen? Du schätzt das lustige und gesellige Leben in einer WG? Dann bist du bei uns genau richtig! :)
Ab dem 01.09. wird bei mein schönes Zimmer frei. Ich werde für ein Semester im Ausland studieren. Falls es dir ab 1.10 besser passt hier einzuziehen, können wir gerne darüber sprechen. Mein Zimmer ist relativ groß für ein WG Zimmer und schön geschnitten. Es gibt genug Platz um sogar zu tanzen oder Workouts zu machen.
Zur Wohnung: Neben unseren 5 Zimmern gibt es eine große Küche, ein großes und ein kleines Bad, sowie einen geräumigen Flur und Keller. Es ist also immer genug Platz für alle da! Freunde sind natürlich immer herzlich willkommen!

Are you or will you be a student and would you like to live in a pretty old building in Giessen city center? Do you appreciate the fun and sociable life in a shared apartment? Then you are exactly right with us! :)
From September 1st will be available in my beautiful room. I will study abroad for a semester. If it would be better for you to move in here from October 1st, we would be happy to talk about it. My room is relatively large for a shared apartment and nicely laid out. There is enough space to even dance or do workouts.
About the apartment: In addition to our 5 rooms, there is a large kitchen, a large and a small bathroom, as well as a spacious hallway and cellar. So there is always enough space for everyone! Of course, friends are always welcome!
Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die Lage: Alle für Studierende überlebensnotwendigen Geschäfte (Aldi, dm, Pizza- und Dönerläden ;D) sind fußläufig erreichbar. Keinesfalls ist auch die Nähe zur Partymeile ("Ludi") zu verachten!
Bahnhof, Uni, THM oder die Innenstadt sind in jeweils 10 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Außerdem sind die schönen Lahnwiesen nicht weit, perfekt um im Sommer mit anderen gemeinsam zu grillen oder eine Runde Laufen zu gehen!
Bei uns im Haus sind neben unserer WG noch zwei weitere WGs mit denen wir auch regelmäßig Kontakt haben und uns mit einer Haus WhatsApp Gruppe austauschen.
Another advantage is the location: all the shops that students need to survive (Aldi, dm, pizza and kebab shops ;D) are within walking distance. The proximity to the party mile (“Ludi”) is by no means to be despised!
The train station, university, THM or the city center can all be reached on foot in 10 minutes. In addition, the beautiful Lahn meadows are not far, perfect for barbecuing with others in the summer or going for a run!
In addition to our shared apartment, there are two other shared apartments in our house with whom we are in regular contact and exchange ideas in a house WhatsApp group.
Zu deinen Mitbewohnern: Alex (24, Förderschullehramt), David (24, Medizin), Marcel (26, Ökotrophologie) und Emmi (21, Tiermedizin) sind ein ziemlich gemischter Haufen, studieren alle etwas anderes und kommen aus den unterschiedlichsten Ecken Deutschlands. Trotzdem sind wir alle sehr froh uns gefunden zu haben.
Wir sind definitiv keine Zweck-WG, sondern irgendwas zwischen Freunden und Familie. Kleine WG-Aktionen versuchen wir (je nach Zeitplan) immer mal wieder zu starten. Im Sommer sind das z.B. Eis essen gehen, an den Lahnwiesen chillen/grillen, ins Kino gehen, zusammen joggen oder einfach spazieren gehen. In der WG essen wir auch mittags oder abends (halb geplant, halb nicht geplant) zusammen. Wir haben aber auch volles Verständnis dafür, wenn jemand mal keine Zeit hat. Generell würde es uns aber natürlich freuen, wenn du darauf auch Lust hast!
Sonst achten wir alle sehr auf Ordnung und Sauberkeit und haben einen funktionierenden wöchentlichen Putzplan, daher wäre es gut, wenn dir das auch wichtig ist.
About your roommates: Alex (24, special education teacher), David (24, medicine), Marcel (26, ecotrophology) and Emmi (21, veterinary medicine) are a pretty mixed bunch, they all study something different and come from different parts of Germany. Nevertheless, we are all very happy to have found each other. We are definitely not a shared apartment, but something between friends and family. We try to start small shared activities every now and then (depending on our schedule). In summer, these include going out for ice cream, chilling/barbecuing at the Lahnwiesen, going to the cinema, jogging together or simply going for a walk. In the shared apartment we also eat together for lunch or dinner (half planned, half unplanned). But we also completely understand if someone doesn't have time. In general, we would of course be happy if you would like to do it too!
Otherwise, we all pay a lot of attention to order and cleanliness and have a functioning weekly cleaning schedule, so it would be good if that was important to you too.
