the rooms are quite small, approx. 11m2. But the "spacious" living room makes up for it (:
there is no flat above this one and it is the only one on the whole floor - so it is really quiet! also cause there is no street next to the windows.
the rent will be either around 200€ or 250€ per month, this depends - but just send me a message and I'll explain it (:
Blümchenviertel - you kinda have seaview (Leine)! You are quickly at the main train station (around 12 min by foot) but also very quickly in the woods + at secret swimming spots.
first things first: the flat is quite small and the walls are thin and I do not want a flat share out of convenience. I will just rent out the room if I have the feeling it is a really good fit and we get along well - which also means I am flexible with moving in and out dates, but for now I would rent out the room for approx. the summer semester 2025. (there is a tiny chance that long term rent would also be possible (:)
Special Features you should have no problem with:
- cutest Husky-Pup Finny
- high amount of bad puns
- neurodivergent flatmate who comes with noise sensitivity during sleeping time (=granny style, which means, going to bed quite early hehe) and whose guilty pleasure is (very) cheesy deco
your future flatmate (me (surprise!)):
I, Mio, 28, (none/they) just moved this summer from Vienna to Göttingen, because after my psychology studies I study (or at least pretend to do so) medicine now (cry) to hopefully be able to make (at least a small) contribution to our currently horrible trans healthcare system one day. I also do paid work on the side.
And the most important part: Finny is from an animal shelter and the cutest and best-behaved dog ever (quite objectively, of course) - she loves other dogs/cats/people/actually everything except vacuum cleaners (understandable). She is super lazy and only howls to greet you (or if she is hangry, which happens twice a day before feeding time :b).
When I am not busy with Uni, work, Finny or obsessing over books, I try to do activism, go rock climbing or just take my tent and Finny and vanish into the mountains (very austrian-cliche: I miss them already) for a few days.
tl:dr: actually I'm just a bunch of curls with colour changing according to my mood.
I would prefer to share my home with a fellow queer person and either you are also neurodivergent or you have experience with it - and you also love dogs - otherwise it could be difficult to share the small space with Finny and me (:
I shouldn't have to mention it, but here we go: an anti-capitalist and intersectional queer-feminist stance is important to me, whereby I try to reflect on and dismantle discriminatory structures such as racism, (cis/hetero)sexism, queer hostility, classism, ableism ... - and I hope you do too!
Just send me a message if this sounds good to you (bad puns very welcome!)
