WG with friendly faces :)

Hey lovely people!

I'm Mahsaan, I'm a 30 year old Mathematics & Statistics student from the UK who moved to Austria initially for love, but ended up staying for the cows, hills, and schnitzel. Professionally im a software developer however I am currently working on some IT related certificates and qualifications which will help me get the work I really want (my masters is in cyber security). I work part time at Amnesty International Austria.

Once I'm done with my certifications I will be immediately employed so my future is here in Austria! I intend to continue with my job and studies, and potentially seek a research position (assuming I find someone willing to supervise me!) Before this I previously lived and worked in Salzburg so I'm quite accustomed to Austrian culture.. My German is good enough to understand most things (depending on the dialekt!), speaking takes a bit of time, I'm currently at Niveu B1 but I'm looking to improve.

I'm generally a quiet, clean, independent person .. I guess you could also call me a bit of a nerd - I enjoy having a drink, gaming, card/board games, bouldering, cooking, reading... the usual mid twenties stuff (only just had the epiphany I turned 30 this year 😳) I also like my own time when I have to focus on studies or other "adulting"... beurocracy and other admin related stuff is usually the biggest time killer!

My expectations from a wg? Friendly faces, getting along and communicating! Alone time and together time - a respectful environment. My name is pronounced "Meh-San" incase you are worried about that haha
