Ich bin Majvi und studiere seit Oktober 2022 Politikwissenschaft und Skandinavistik in Greifswald. Von Januar bis voraussichtlich Anfang Juli mache ich mein Erasmus-Semester. Deshalb möchte ich in dieser Zeit mein Zimmer in unserer Zweier-WG vermieten. Das Zimmer hat ein Fenster zur Straße und ist das "Kinderzimmer" der Wohnung, also mit ca. 11m² relativ klein. Dafür gibt es noch ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer und auch einen sonnigen Süd-Balkon, die du natürlich gerne mitbenutzen kannst.
Da ich ja nur ca. ein halbes Jahr weg sein werde, würde ich mich freuen, wenn ich den Großteil meiner Möbel im Zimmer lassen könnte und du sie dann natürlich gerne auch nutzen könntest. Aber genaueres können wir dann ja noch besprechen.

I'm Majvi and I've been studying political science and Scandinavian studies in Greifswald since October 2022. Starting in January, I’m doing a Erasmus semester abroad, so I’m looking to sublet my room in our two-person flatshare until July. The room has a window facing the street and is the designated "nursery" of the apartment, so it is relatively small with about 11 m². However, the flat also has a cosy living room with a sunny south-facing balcony, which you're welcome to use as well.
Since I'll only be gone for around half a year, I'd like to leave the majority of the furniture in my room for you to use as well. But I'd be happy to discuss further details with you.
Die Wohnung liegt direkt in der Greifswalder Innenstadt und ist ideal für Studierende, die viele Veranstaltungen am historischen Campus und vor allem am Loeffler-Campus haben (in 2 Minuten erreicht man die meisten Veranstaltungsgebäude). Auch das AStA-Büro ist direkt gegenüber gelegen und die Bushaltestelle "Campus Loefflerstraße" ist nur 100m entfernt. Zum Bahnhof und den dort gelegenen Geschäften kommt man in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß oder man fährt 2 Haltestellen mit dem Bus. Auch zum Einkaufszentrum mit Kino, kleinem (aber teurem) Lebensmittelgeschäft, Tedi & Woolworth muss man nur ein Minütchen gehen und die Haupteinkaufsstraße der Innenstadt ist nur eine Seitenstraße entfernt.
The flat is situated directly in the city centre of Greifswald, making it perfect for students who attend most of their lectures at the historic campus (5 minutes on foot) and especially at the Campus Loefflerstraße, with uni buildings just 2 minutes away. The Students’ union’s office is located right across the street and the bus stop „Campus Loefflerstraße“ is only 100m from the flat. The train station and nearby supermarkets and shops are about a 10-min walk or a quick two stops by bus. A shopping centre, with a cinema, a small (but pricey) grocery and two pound shops, is also only a minute away, and the main shopping street in the city centre is just around the corner.
Während der 6 Monate wirst du mit Lena zusammenwohnen. Sie ist 22 Jahre alt und studiert im fünften Semester Politikwissenschaft und Philosophie. Ansonsten ist sie auch bei GreiMUN (Model United Nations) und in beiden ihrer Fachschaften aktiv. Da wir schon seit unserem ersten Semester gut befreundet sind, ist das WG-Leben sehr persönlich und entspannt und die Haushaltsaufgaben haben wir locker untereinander aufgeteilt und wir machen den Einkauf und das Abendessen meist zusammen. Das kann natürlich gerne so weitergeführt werden (oder anders gestaltet werden), wenn du einziehst, aber da kannst du dich ja dann mit Lena austauschen.
During the six months, you’ll be sharing the flat with Lena. She’s 22 years old and in her fifth semester studying political science and philosophy. Lena is also involved in GreiMUN (Model United Nations) and is active in both her subjects’ student representative councils. Since we’ve been close friends since our first semester, the atmosphere in the flatshare is relaxed and personal, with household tasks loosely divided between us. We usually also do the grocery shopping and have dinner together. You’re welcome to keep things this way (or change them up), when you move in, just feel free to discuss it with Lena beforehand.
