Our 3rd flatmate is moving out after 4 years, so we're looking for a new flatmate before our WG dissolves in the 2nd half of 2025 (date is still not fixed, but sometime between September2025-January2026).
The room is furnished with a 140x200cm loft bed (hochbett) and closet. Some other small pieces of furniture might also be available, we'll just have to coordinate :)
The entire apartment has floor-heating too!
UKE is just down the street, and buses 22/392 leave from the doorstep. Very easy access to S-bahn Stellingen, U1/U3 Kellinghusenstrasse and U2 Hagenbecks Tierpark. Siemersplatz is a 5 minute walk away.
There's an Aldi next door, and an Edeka across the street too! A Turkish market's a short 7 minute walk away, and lots of other small stores, cafes and bars. We're in a more residential corner of Lokstedt/Eppendorf, but lots of things are a 5-min bikeride away.
Your flatmates are both are usually pretty busy with work and usual routines during the weekdays, but they hang out often in the evenings over food, drinks or a smoke :)
One is a philologist doing her post-doc at UHH, and spends a lot of her free time dancing, singing, performing, working out, cooking, reading and being outside with her community of friends in the city.
The other is an AI scientist and ethicist, and spends a lot of his free time reading, bouldering, cooking, doing improv comedy and some theater. He's spends a fair bit of time at home off late.
The flat itself is a large 85sqsm, 3 bedroom apartment with a well-stocked kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms and a hallway. We also have 2 balconies, 1 facing East and the other West, so there's always sunshine in the summer :)
You can come take a look at the room sometime in the coming weeks. We would like to have a confirmed flatmate by mid-January, with the deposit (Kaution) already paid up front and the wg-contract signed. If you need to get registered in the city, we'll give you the Wohnungsgeberbestaetigung too it's not a problem.
