As you already know from the title, our flat is located
on the 6th floor and the view is simply astonishing!!
Your room is the biggest one in the entire flat with 24m²
and is completely empty for you to bring the furniture of your choice!
In the bathroom you will find a bathtub to take a shower in.
In the kitchen you will find a tall fridge-freezer combination.
The nearest metro station is called "Rauhes Haus" and is only a two minute walk.
Bus line(s) are also available, but I rarely use them as the metro U2/U4 is so convenient.
Just a few stops to Berliner Tor, the central station and the bus port.
Shopping facilities are also close by (in walking distance).
My favourite is Penny...and we have 2 of those around the corner!
Just down the road and you can buy groceries.
Others include but are not limited to: Rewe, Budni, Lidl, Aldi
If you are really lazy there is a tiny convenience store ("Kiosk")
on ground floor level (in our building). ;-)
But don't worry, it closes at 19:00, so there is no noise from customers.
In case you'll get sick, there is a doctor in the same building (1st floor),
so no long walks out in the cold when you are not feeling well.
Pharmacy is also just a 2 min walk.
If you feel like having a BBQ or would just like to spend some time in nature,
the park called "Hammer Park" is in walking distance.
I also like to walk in "Blohms Park", which is also very close!
And I can also show you a little island close by (walking distance)!
Every Monday to Friday I am at work from 7/8am to 4/5pm.
During the weekends I usually meet my friends and attend concerts.
By the way, our street is a one way street ("Einbahnstrasse").
Parking is also available in front of the building or
at a FREE parking place right next to our building.
(can be seen from our kitchen window)
I cannot promise a working washing machine in our flat,
but we have a working washing machine in our building.
(downstairs in the cellar, keys available at all times.)
Rules? I like rooms to be kept in the same condition,
because I am not a fan of "Putzplan" at all.
So after I used the kitchen or the bathroom,
I LEAVE THEM AS I FOUND THEM. Easy, right? ;-)
This means you can make a great mess (while cooking for example),
as long as you clean your mess up again afterwards.
