After approximately two years, my flatmate Joan is leaving Heidelberg to work in Valencia and his bedroom in our 2 people flat will be available from 01/01/2025. It is a luminous and rather big bedroom (16 m2) within a very practical flat with one more bedroom (mine) a kitchen, and the toilette. The building is quite big and there many other students and young workers living here.
The location is perfect, your room will face to Bergheimer Straße and you can find all kinds of supermarkets (Aldi, Rewe, Edeka, Alnatura) nearby. There's also a very cool park behind the apartment building. From the flat, you can get to Bismarckplatz in 5 minutes walking, to the main station (Heidelberg hbf) in around 10, and to Technologiepark in 10 min by bike.
Even thougth the flat is small, the convivence has been nice so far and we´ve always managed to use the common spaces smoothly.
You´ll live with me (Adrian). I´ve lived in the flat for one and a half years and I´m working as a research assistant in molecular biology in a company here in Heidelberg. In my spare time I enjoy being active and I usually go swimming, playing volleyball, bouldering or going to the gym. Also, I´m very keen on cooking, go hiking in the mountains and formula 1 :) During the weekends I like meeting my friends and have a beer or go on a short trip.
It should be noted that there is not washing machine in the flat, which never bothered me, since there are two laundries nearby where I've always cleaned my clothes, etc. without any complications.
The room is available from 1st of January, altought it is also possible to move by the end of December. I would like to do the interviews around the last week of November, online visiting is also possible. Additionally, my flatmate would like to leave the furniture of the room (bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and mirror) for 300€.
